Review: Excellent - 08 Jan 22 - It is playing again as I write this short note - one word "outstanding" - don't take my word for it, head over to Youtube and listen - then BUY IT - they deserve the cash!! Oh, and try Greta Van Fleet. 25 Mar 15 - I wrote the review below last year - and have returned once again to this outstanding album - for me, it is the best SBE platter having sampled all of them now. You must at least listen to this on YouTube (and then buy it!!) plus you can catch the band live at Rockpalast on the same website - live they are even more mind-blowing. BUY THIS ALBUM NOW!!! I tried to purchase this album from my local record shop (after hearing it on the net) only to be told that they do not sell "imports". Their problem! Tried (for the first time) desertcart. Platter was duly delivered, on time, from Ge. One word - OUTSTANDING, 'nuff said; other than you must buy this NOW, not now, but NOW! I have nearly worn out my copy in some 6 weeks! Take early Sabbath, Hawkwind, Pink Floyd and that is pretty much it, other than a tad of eastern mysticism. Trust me, this is outrageously HEAVY and brilliant. The other key decider - the Long Haired Director loathes it with a vengeance. Result!! Review: Don't read my review, just buy it. - This album, is quite frankly... mind blowing. Youtube and desertcart have truly become my new best friends in finding new music. This particular one was suggested by youtube. So I hit play... by about 5 minutes I'd already switched over to here and bought the album. From the moment it starts, with the spaced out sitars leading into some kind of cosmic funk-groove (almost Clutch-esque... well, more Bakerton Group style) I was sat there, wondering how I'd failed to come across this band before. This album seems to be the perfect ride through many of the different vibes of the "stoner"/doom genre. Everything's gravy... and then you hit "Center of the Sun". Oh Lawd. Oh lawdie lawdie, you'd be best off just buying this album and seeing for yourself instead of sitting where you are now, reading the ravings of a madman. ... Go on... do it! Stop reading and buy it! Out of 19 out of 5 stars.

Mindblowing
For any people in doubt about buying this album, I can honestly say that this was one of my best purchases this year. In fact this album sits highly at the top of my varied collection of CDs. I bought this album about 3 weeks ago and it's just continually grown on me from the first listen. Rarely does music carry you away, and no although I like the Stoner Music, I do NOT partake in the drug scene....it is actually possible to be taken and carried to another place by good music. Try it....make some time, relax and close your eyes and put on this beauty. Everything song on the album is outstanding and never has the chemistry in a band been more evident than with these guys. I'm not one for reviewing song by song so if you were hoping for that...forget it. I rarely write reviews unless I feel that an album deserves a particular mention, and this one sure does. Revalation and Mystery album is also excellent, however I do feel this is the better one of the two, not to discredit the other album in any way. BUY IT!!!

cant stop listening to this.....
What a fantastic album! It sounds like musicians playing their instruments all together at the same time, NOT like an over-produced studio album where a hundred takes were done of each instrument... Real musicians playing their socks off. It's not really fair to compare bands to others as it can give the wrong impression of what they sound like, but I can say that I like Earthless and I like Hawkwind and this album sits happily in that general section of my CDs. A friend referred to them as stoner rock. Marvelous band.

Awe Inspiring
The deep driving riffs and composition of the tracks on this album make it just about my favourite album ever. I would so love to see these guys perform this, and the rest of their material live. I wouldn't give any favourite tracks as it is a simple pleasure to listen to the album in it's entirety, over and over. It's like Floyd but with a more metal edge. I was led to the album because of my Sabbath and Kyuss habits, and am delighted that I was. Well worth the investment.

An amazing album

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Clear inheritor of Kyuss and Colour Haze, but surpasses both in quality, in my opinion.

D I E neue Supergruppe im Stoner Rock . . . und und und . . .
