I experienced positive results within 30 minutes of applying this cream!
PACKAGE CONTENTS: Diprobase Emollient Cream (500g)FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The cream was presented in sturdy white plastic container with a pump dispenser. No separate instruction was necessary as the label gave details regarding the purpose of the product, how to use it correctly and its ingredients. In fact, at the top right corner of the label there is a black arrow; when I pealed that back, I found a Package Leaflet which gave full information on the product.USAGE: The purpose of buying this product was to deal with an allergic reaction (contact dermatitis) that I received as the result of using a popular body spray. Within a few hours of using the spray, I developed redness of the skin followed by itchy rashes. I immediately applied a regular antiseptic cream to the infected areas, but the rash continued to spread. After a few days, the inflamed and painful skin now resembled eczema, so I decided to search Amazon’s site for a possible treatment.I was drawn to the Diprobase Emollient Cream firstly, as it treated eczema and similar skin conditions, and secondly because of the abundance of positive customer reviews for this product. I applied a thin layer of the thick white cream onto the problematic areas. The pump dispenser allowed me to regulate the exact amount I needed. The cream spreads generously, so I had to be sure to use only a small amount at a time, and increase if necessary. Within about 30 minutes of application, I was amazed to discover that the awful burning and itchiness had begun to lessen. After 2 hours, I only felt a slight tingle!I applied this non-greasy cream every morning and evening, and during the day if necessary. For 3 days, I was unable to use my regular bodywash due to the intensity of my ailment. However, another benefit of this cream is that it can be used as a bodywash alternative! At the time of writing this review, I have been using the cream for 8 days and can happily report that my skin inflammation and itching have gone. The rashes have nearly all disappeared.***Although this treatment has proven to be very effective in my situation, I am acutely aware that this is a medicine with 'possible side effects' (read the Package Leaflet). It contains chemicals such as phosphoric acid and sodium hydroxide, therefore, it needs to be used with caution. I have now stopped using the cream and will be treating my blemishes/scars with the use of natural (non-chemical) products.***CONCLUSION: I am truly impressed with the Diprobase Emollient Cream, it will always be found in my home. It has exceeded my expectations and I am very happy to recommend it.

Very effective for eczema
I suffer from dry eczema. both allergy and stress induced, and when it flares up this is the most effective cream I've found so far to treat it, and the fastest one for healing and restoring the skin as well.It does have a slight cream/medicinal smell to it which other creams like Doublebase and E45 Intensive don't, but for me they also won't touch a bad flare up. In fact E45 Intensive even caused a burning sensation the last time I used it on red (but not broken), eczema irritated skin , whereas this cream soothes and does help, and it's a mild smell (nobody except me even seems to have noticed) and it's certainly much better than sore, inflammed, dry, & itchy skin. It's moisturising effect seems to last longer before needing to be reapplied than the other creams I've tried too.Note: it is designed to moisturise and heal, it's not an anti itch cream, and while I find it often relieves mild itching by relieving the dryness after application anyway, it doesn't help for intense itching, so occasionally during my worst flare ups where my whole skin felt like sand paper on fire , I have used hydrocortizone creams to relieve the itching alongside it, but this cream still did most of the work. Also I wouldn't use it as a soap substitute. If you need a cream alternative to soap as well, then for safety use a cream designed and advertised as such, for example Aqueous cream, Diprobase recommends you do not use in bath or while on other slippery surfaces, because if it gets on them it will make them extra slippery. Personally I find Diprobase more effective in general, but Aqueous still very helpful and effective as a soap substitute, and as with the hydrocortizon, I've used both creams alongside each other to deal with flare ups when necessary. The only problem with the pump dispenser version of this used to be getting the pump to open to dispense the cream in the first place, but they seem to have taken note of others mentioning this and fixed it recently as the last few I've gotten twist open easily.Overall highly recommended :)

Great product! It’s actually working! :)
I really wanted to write a review for this one because it’s actually helped me! Yey!On both images, left photo is 04/03 and the right is 17/03. So this is a review after my 13 days of experience. The photo isn’t too great to explain how it helped me but I can feel my eczema much better.I had to put this on 4-5 times for the first week and now I only apply 2-3 times and I can feel my legs much less dry. This is a very thick cream, so I always applied body oil(also just cheap natural oil from Amazon) all over the places I want to put this cream on.I’m a very lazy person but I said to myself to give it a real go this time because the eczema was driving me crazy. Although it’s a lot of energy, always applying oil and then this cream on top.My mum who is a doctor told me to use cetaphil but it’s much pricier and this does the job so I’m happy.I did work on other things as well, such as changing my detergents to non-allergy and washing all my clothes with them, washing the beddings every week with the new one as well. Also taking multi vitamins, to just make sure my immune systems are ok because they say it can cause eczema when you feel poorly.I’ve never had eczema before but I’m a fashion student in my final year and I think the dust and chemical from the fabrics caused it a lot.I think this is a great product, with a great value, and I really wanted to write this feedback because I feel MUCH better.But. I have to say that other methods I’ve used also helped me as well as this product so I think it’s really important to keep trying many methods and see what works the best.
