WOW Toys Ronnie Rocket

My grandson wanted a toy ‘Zoom rocket’ but, at the age of 2, I wasn’t sure what was out there? This toy is large enough, sturdy, bright & colourful. The spaceman is big enough not to be swallowed, although I play this with him in any case. He loves the vibrating feature, which makes the rocket move around a flat surface & moves the pictures. Clever and excellent value for money.

My 2 year old son loves this. The cord is too hard for him to pull out all the way yet and hold it in place so he doesn't get the full 54321 countdown on his own. He's 2 he neither knows nor cares. He loves this. The vibration will rattle it off the table but that is part of the fun for Seth and he tries to catch it and save it before it falls. The dog is already aware of what is going to happen so scarpers.The build quality is great, it's a big heavy toy and that seems to be a lot of the attraction for Seth I think. So many toys these days are lightweight and sing to you. Why do nearly all toys have to bloody sing? This one doesn't sing which is good.Postman Pat has been to the moon in this as has Jess the cat and Mr Tumble and the Peppa Pig family. If a toy fits in the cockpit then it's been to the moon.XXX Now he's 2 1/2 he can pull the cord properly so gets the full countdown and run around with it as it flies through the cosmos.A very nice, well made and loved toy.

Very colourful and fun.... but not mind blowing. The cord you pull for count down isn’t child friendly... way too difficult

Grandkids had played with and loved Wow toys at a local playcentre so we purchased 3 different ones at Xmas . Can't recommend highly enough .They're bright colourful and all have functioning parts without the need for batteries . We have 18 month and 2 yr old and these are fab as they getdropped and stood on all the time . Also like the fact you can purchase extra little people on the Wow website .Can see these lasting for years very happy.

My 2yr old nephew absolutely loved this from the second he opened it on his birthday. He loves counting down with the little timer etc. I will say, however, that the button to open the cockpit(?) of the rocket is quite stiff so he does struggle to press it on his own which is unfortunate. We're hoping it will loosen up with time though. Also, it does frustrate him when the little astronaut falls over in the rocket because there's no way of making him stay standing up. Having said that though it is an excellent toy for the price and well worth seeing his little face light up when he plays with it.

We bought this for our two year old boy's birthday. He likes spaceships, so we thought this would be very good.It's a good toy - well made, solid and does enough without the need for batteries (which is always a bonus).BUT........the spaceman doesn't stay in the cockpit. As soon as you stand him in it, he falls over. Or by the time you shut the lid, he is tipped over in the back. So, he spends half the time playing with it looking for the spaceman because he isn't where he left him. It's nothing that a well placed magnet couldn't fix.In all, a well made toy, but not brilliantly designed.

it's for a birthday present

I took this as a gift for my nearly three-year-old granddaughter on a recent visit. It was a complete success. The rocket is very robust, the hinged top stood up to being opened and closed constantly. My granddaughter loved putting the little astronaught inside, then pulling the cord and watching the sequence of pictures in the window as she counted down to blastoff and saw Ronnie (we call him Sammy) in space. On our last webcall since my visit she was still playing with Sammy and the rocket. The most successful present yet!

Lo compré para niño de 3 años loco por los cohetes. Muy buena idea que no tenga pilas, se ve bastante bien respecto a dureza y según pone, ni el plástico ni la pintura son tóxicas, por lo que eso es genial. Todavía no lo ha estrenado pero por lo que he podido comprobar, el juguete vibra bastante al tirar del cable y se ve buena sujeción. A mi me gusta, espero que a él también.

Bellissimo giocattolo robusto,resistente di qualità , l'ho comprato per regalarlo a mio figlio non vedo l'ora di vedere la sua reazione. Sicuramente li piacerà molto. Grazie Amazon e arrivato anche prima del previsto.

I gave this Special shuttle to my son and he just loves it. He plays all the time. Its just sweet and adorable. Price is a bit expensive but very good quality for a 3 year old and very stable. I don't think it breaks easily. Would buy it again. Highly recommended.
