No. They could easily wriggle out of this. You need a shiny (glazed) higher rimmed dish.

Is this large enough for an adult corn snake to take a dip in.

I would say no my bearded dragon is 8 months old and needs a bigger water bath now, this is ok for tiny reptiles,
