unbeatable value and good quality
The media could not be loaded. In terms of value in relation to quality, these mics are hard to impossible to beat; for the price you get two condenser mics with fairly good quality wind covers, mic holders with 3/8th/1/2inch threads and a decent carry case. Add to that, the very good construction and materials of the mics - solid, heavy - really good feel to them. I don't know about professional use, but these are the best microphones that I have and they are capable of producing clean sound, so great for audio, music recording and video. Having two mics means that you can record stereo sounds or two actors for video recording. In the sound test that I conducted, I used two prosumer recorders, a decent field recorder with XLR connectors and a reasonably good quality pocket sized recorder with a 3.5 inch jack input; this particular model is no renowned for its 3.5 jack sockets, it has to be said. In sound editing, I normalised each take to -12db. There is a noticeable drop in sound quality in the second recording, which may have something to do with the recorder's ability to properly power the mic which does need phantom power, something that the field recorder has. I tried another pocket recorder, but without any form of phantom power, the performance proved unusable - so take note; ensure your recorder has phantom power or you will be disappointed. In both tests I turned up the gain to just below audibility in my headphones; I could have added more gain probably without much adverse effect, but it is better to be sure. In both recordings, there is some sibilance, but that is more about my voice, I think, than anything the mic is producing and I could try using a pop filter. Overall, I am satisfied that these Samson mics are good to use and capable of producing good sound quality in voice recording.

Good value
Really good bang for the buck. They’re by no means a matched pair, but for the price they work well as room mics with a touch of EQ to even out the self noise. I’ve used them as an X-Y pair on a chamber string group with good results but did have to add something else to fill out the bottom end. There’s a definite gap above this price before you get to something with noticeably better quality. The spec says these are super cardioid, but I’ve found they behave much more as a regular cardioid.

Great sounding mics with low noise, at a really excellent price.
Super value. Great sounding mics with low noise, at a really excellent price. And nicely packaged too.I bough this for video making and they will allow me to mic up two speakers and feed each into a separate channel of my (Zoom H5) audio recorder. My testing has left me delighted with the sound quality - especially for the price. I'm not at professional level, but for semi-pro they are great (I earn money from training videos). The look and feel has a pleasingly solid and robust nature, and the case is decent - a great extra for the money. Also, the mounts have some (little) shock absorption.

Great audio quality
After a lot of research and listening to several YouTube videos where they compared the Samson SACO2 to higher priced microphones I purchased these microphones. To be honest I couldn't tell the difference between the expensive units and the Samson pair, and I listening through high quality studio monitor speakers and expesive headphones. These microphones are ideal if you want quality at a low price.

Excellent value, very clean sound
I bought these for a specific lockdown project and I am surprised at how good they are for the money. They have a nice clean sound and work extremely well with my Zoom recorder.

A great buy for everyday mike-ing
Used these so far on stage for percussion/kit, acoustic guitar (as an addition in the mix to DI) and wind (sax/trumpet/trombone). a really nice, controllable sound, with plenty of useable range and punch. Highly recommended as workhorse condensers.
