Rolson 22406 15 mm Copper Pipe Cutter

Excellent pipe cutter at a super reasonable price,

a little stiff to use at first , works better on copper than plastic pipe

Maybe all these style cutters are the same, but this is quite difficult to push onto the pipe to start cutting and can dent the pipe a bit. Takes quite a few turns to cut the pipe but good for restricted spaces. Gives a clean cut.

So far so good. 5 perfect cuts done very easily, including 1 tricky one behind a basin pedestal. No further preparation for pipe needed, straight into isolating valve, nip up, job done. Each cut takes 4 or 5 full rotations and was very easy. Excellent little tool for just over a fiver. Highly recommended for a bit of DIY plumbing. I've no doubt that this wouldn't stand up to the rigours of day in day out professional plumbing, but then if you spent £5 on this as a pro plumber and expected it to last then I wouldn't want you working in my house. It is however the best and easiest to use of the 3 cutters I have.It's one of those things that, as long as you don't get a faulty one, as some on here say they have, can completely change how hard or easy a job can be. If you're thinking about one to make a few odd jobs easier, go for it.

I have had this pipe cutter for quite some time now and used it several times. So far, the cutter has not needed to be replaced, it still cuts clean and with ease.A great purchase that has allowed me to do quite a few simple plumbing jobs - like changing taps in the kitchen and bathroom - would certainly purchase this brand again for other pipe sizes.

Marvellous addition to the tool box, makes pipe cutting so easy.

Used this once to cut a bit of 22mm copper, it never cut right through, had to remove it and bend the copper at the joint for it to cut, now the cutter won't come back out.It's for the bin and i'll buy a different brand.

They’re at the right price, but they don’t cut the pipe very efficiently , it takes a while to get though, I’m use to my old cutter taking seconds!!

Il prezzo è buono ci ho fatto 4 tagli per un tubo da 22 rame gas senza grossi problemi, la costruzione è molto grossolana e imprecisa, va bene per uso saltuario e fai da te avanzato, ma non la consiglio per uso professionale.
