Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Italia (Wheel incl. 2-Pedalset, Xbox 360 / PC)

hello and welcome! i thought this product was absoloutley glorious and splended! i first got it and it looked really snazzy, i attached it to the table and it felt marvellous to hold. when i started playing forza it was very responsive and gave me wonderful and mind boggling control. the pedeles felt lovelly jubely and were nice and firm my son loves it, but overall it was comepletely rubbish! thank you very much in dead for reading this.

The Ferrari F458 arrived safely and looks really good. The buttons on the wheel are nice and clear and the grip on the wheel is perfect. The two metal paddles for gear change are really nice and smooth and feels great. But there is a real problem, the cord that connects to the xbox 360 simply isn't long enough, unless you have your TV about a metre away, which I'm sure most families don't, so you'll have no choice than to purchase an USB extension kit to make the cable longer, so this delays your enjoyment, because you don't know this until you try, like I did. I think this is poor, I think that another metre would of been perfect. I think it's bad for you, if you watch your TV or play games that close to the screen. So as I didn't want to move the sofa forward, I got a USB extension kit and now the Ferrari Racing Wheel works and is amazing. I'm finding at I'm quicker around the tracks, especially in Forza 4 and really enjoying the experience of this new Ferrari F458 Racing Wheel. Come on Thrustmaster, supply the steering wheels with longer cable. Please note that the cable is 1.7 metres and from the back of my xbox 360 to the front of the sofa is 2.5 metres. I hope this helps and you'll know if you need to purchase an extension kit.

So your looking for a new wheel. You are stuck between buying this one and the official Xbox 360 wheel. Yes there are a few bad reviews on this, but it's nice, it's Ferrari, it looks cool. If so, that is exactly how I felt when I decided to buy this.The wheel arrived, It looked amazing! So I set it up on F1 2012. Coming into the first corner at the Yas Marina circuit...... NO BRAKES!!! The next corner......NO BRAKES!!! The brake pedal did not work at all!! So I ordered I replacement, thinking it was a dodgy batch. Two days later, same thing, set it up and.......NO BRAKES!! AGAIN!!!I am fuming with this and wish I had listened more too the reviews. It would be a great wheel if Thrustmaster spent more than 20p making the pedals. I am getting a refund and getting the official Xbox 360 Wheel by Madcatz, like I should have done in the first place. I urge you not to make the same mistake I did. Buy the Madcatx wheel!!!!

I purchased this wheel after using an inexpensive Madcatz MC2, and after trying it with a variety of games I'm pleased to report that I don't regret the upgrade.The F458 wheel is a well executed replica of Ferrari's flagship sportscar, with buttons positioned in a relatively intuitive pattern. The effort required to move the wheel and pedals is good, and allows for accuracy. The package also includes a clamping mechanism as this wheel does not sit on the knees.Positives include what feels like a solid build quality (though time will better critique this) and the pressures required to control the wheel and pedals which allow for more precise levels of accuracy. The size of the wheel itself at 28cm and with 270 degree radius is good too. A major selling point for this wheel is the price tag, which (although the product is lacking force feedback) prices it competitively for those wanting more than a cheap entry level model, but who aren't willing to splash out on pricier models. The manettino is a nice touch but could be exploited further.While a wireless system and force feedback would have been preferable, the wires are long enough to be positioned out of the way so they don't cause a distraction. The Xbox button itself while rounded like on the official controllers is a sticker underneath, which is a disappointing finishing touch given the overall quality of the product. The absence of a shifter in place of a paddle set-up may dissuade some enthusiasts. The main issue with this wheel however is the headset socket, which does not fit the shape of XBox controllers, thus requiring an adapter.EDIT: Left-hand shift paddle started developing issues 8 months in, then stopped working completely. Had to return, though since this was outside the 30 day window I had to return the original for a refund, then buy another seperately. Trying a replacement model, will update.

Great product, bought second hand for 50 quid and wouldn't look bag. Packet was a little beat up on arrival but on opening everything inside was in perfect condition.

The wheel is fun and sturdy. Pedals have good resistance and the clamps is very good. However, after just a couple of months is has broken. All resistance the wheel had has gone. Now it's almost unusable.I would try another wheel first. Perhaps spend a little more just for reliability before getting this.

Really impressed but my only complaint is that it’s quiet difficult to get in the correct and comfortable position. I’m sure this is a problem many ppl face but has nothing to do with the product, just takes time to set up.

Bought for my grandson.. best thing ive bought him he says.. 😁. Money well spent knowing he enjoys using it..

If you're looking for a great starter steering wheel and pedals, then I would highly recommend this package. I've been using it for over 6 months for my racing games and it works very well. Nest step up from this unit is DOUBLE THE PRICE or more.

La calidad del producto es muy alta. Cuando coges el volante notas una robustez y un tacto a volante real que agrada mucho. La sensibilidad de los pedales también es muy alta. Estas dos sensaciones crean un ambiente realista a la hora de disfrutar de juegos de conducción.Muy contento con la relación calidad/precio. Por un poco más de lo que cuesta el volante inalámbrico en forma de "U" propio de la XBOX, tienes este pack de volante y pedales, que aunque tenga cables, le supera con creces en calidad y realismo.
