Is it 1 tablet per 1 us or uk gallon?

As it's manufactured in the West Midlands, England, one would assume it's 1 imperial gallon. Can't see why a company based in the UK would be using US gallons, if they were it would surely be explicitly stated as such.

Should tablets be dissolved in the drink? Or are they just for cleaning?

Their use is fairly straight-forward. You add one tablet to each gallon of wine must 24 hour prior to adding the wine yeast – before the fermentation. Then you add one table per gallon just before bottling. The Campden tablets must first be crushed and dissolved in a small amount of the wine or water.

If i use these for home brew beer (ipa) how many should i add for a 20l brew and can i add it at the start of fermentation?

A Campden tablet is crushed and dissolved into the must and stirred thoroughly. The Campden tablet is added and then you will need to wait at least 24 hours before adding your yeast otherwise the metabisulfite will greatly inhibit the yeast stalling fermentation. Roughly one tablet to 4ltrs so abot five tablets to 20ltrs

Can these tablets be used for removing bugs etc from the grapes during crushing

Hi the tablets will not remove bugs they are to kill bacteria which will stop the yeast from working

Good quality Campden tablets.

This is a 50 pack of campden tablets. They are easy to use just crush 1 tablet per gallon and mix with water before adding to your vessel. It's very important to make sure fermentation is complete 1st. But when used with an inhibitor they work a treat. The tablets are very hard (which is good as they react with moisture) when crushed they require a bit of work to mix them. Good quality and ok value. Recommended.
