Very solid and well built. Lids have a rubber gasket as well as each of the cable glands which is great for added grip on the cable and waterproofing overall. Inside the cable connector mounts onto the two pins so it won’t move around, although I’m unsure how well this would work with 2+ cables as they seem to be for one 14-16 gauge wire on each side, so I just tossed it and used wire nuts and it closed up great with no issue. Best part is it even comes with a double ended screwdriver so you have everything you need right out of the box!

I had these and we're going to use them but I need a different orientation of the outlets. I can say they looked absolutely water proof and quality made.

I used these to connect garden lights, adding a tube of silicon sealer to seal up the inlets. The typical garden light push-on-and-pierce connectors don't last, and the insulating cable becomes stiff and hard to push into, so these boxes are intended as a longer-term replacement. The idea is 2-wires in and out, and a 2-wire tap out, but the loose screw-down connector block supplied is for 3 pairs of connections, better would be 2 three-way junctions. The garden light wire is too thick to join 2 on one side of the connector block, so instead I bought twist nut caps that work fine but are harder to fit inside with the thick wiring. Overall a success, but somehow garden light wiring should be easier than this.

I expected these to be a bit cheap and nasty but I was pleasantly surprised that they are actually well-made sturdy little boxes.The screws that hold the lid were not stainless steel so I swapped those out since I was using them on my saltwater boat.Other than that the only nice addition would have been mounting tabs so that you could screw them in place but I just used cable clamps to hold the wires down instead.They are quite small so if you were wanting to connect heavy gauge wires it might be hard to get them to fit inside, I was using 18 16, and 14 gauge which was ok.I would definitely buy them again and if they made a larger size I would buy that too..

The media could not be loaded.  I love the ease of this junction box.. Perfect for what I need only one complaint really. It has openings for larger cord like an outdoor extension cord but the wire block inside has very small wire holes so I had to use wire connectors on the inside. Also comes with a reversible screwdriver so you don't have to run around looking for one!! I turned an extension into lights for my carved pumpkins this year

Got a bag of 5 years ago thinking I would only use 2. Ordering another set of 5 today because I am always finding uses for them.

The box seems fine, but there are NO holes for screws, bolts or anything else that could secure this box to something.

You cant find these at any big box store. These are perfect and a great price.

Used lighting around house and did the job the boxes were little flimzzy to bad we didn t have ears for mounting had to predrill the mounting holes
