F Fityle 5 Pieces 2 Cm Density Foam Sheet 30 * 20 * 2 Cm Crafts Building Model

First timer with using this foam. I'm having great results with it for 1/48 scale military dioramas. Great product and strangely quite a low price.

This is my first time using Styrofoam so I might not be the best judge, but the material itself seems to be of decent quality.Some things to consider, though:- As others have said, the product is shipped from China (although it says HomegardenUK) so it will inevitably arrive with indents, scratches, rounded corners/edges and even gouges, at least to some extent. It doesn't help that the only packaging is a thin plastic mailing bag, through which I could already see the blue Styrofoam before even opening the bag, which itself seemed a bit carelessly/hurriedly taped up. However, contrary to another review here, the faces of the boards on the inside of the stack were untouched, with only their sides being affected.- The description is 300x200x40 but after carefully measuring the least damaged board, it came in at 294x197x38 (+/- 1mm). Many products on Amazon state a margin of acceptable error, but I can't see that stated anywhere here. Thankfully, this won't affect my own project but it's worth bearing in mind if yours requires unyielding precision. I might have omitted this point, but it does seem rather convenient for the seller that all 3 dimensions are smaller than described, rather than larger or mixed.- The package arrived a couple of days after the expected delivery time. Again, not a problem for me but worth mentioning.Overall, I'm satisfied with the product, even though the slight damage and dimension discrepancies were disappointing.

My package arrive, although i was in all day, i did not know of its arrival as the dilevery person, did not knock or ring my door bell, and i later found my package out side dripping wet. And on opening the package i found one shippment was okay enough to use without exessive waste, but the other half will most definitely lead to excessive amounts of foam being discarded when it shouldn't off been. There are indents across all foam slabs, from one shipment, and deep enough to cause a problem for when and what i plan to use them for.

Nice and light, easy to cut with either a knife or hot wire cutter. Only fault l have was that as it is dispatched from China it picks up various dings, dents and nicks - could be better packaged!

Quite pricy (but that’s normal these days ) good quality easy to use.

More precisely for making brickwork patterns in it as it's high density and holds detail well. Easily cut and carved. Bit pricey for what you get, but there you go. Cheaper than a car.

Needed to make a figure display and this stuff made the perfect base

Arrived quickly and in good condition. A little dinged up but well within working levels.

From other reviews, I expected these to come with scuffed sides and two faces (top and bottom of pile) to be dinged and marked in transit. Problem is ALL of the faces were dinged and marked (some quite badly), even those "protected" by the outside ones!So you get the high density foam - and it is good quality, but packed only in a plastic bag and even those with others around are all scratched, dinged, have chunks missing (not just the 'outside' ones). All good as insulation, and high density foam, but of you want to use it for modelling (which pieces this small would be assumed to be for) it is really not suitable.
