I had to leave a review for this product as it worked instantly without any loss of speeds what so ever !Last week when decorating I accidentally broke the flat ethernet cable we have running under the carpets. After cutting and replacing (fixing) the broken ethernet lead, I needed a female to female connector to join both leads up. I found this on amazon fairly quickly and thought it looks ok and the reviews are good and at £6.99 i had to try it.I am on 1gbs fibre broadband with Virgin Media and after plugging both ethernet leads in, I ran a speed test and was amazed I had no loss of speeds whatsoever !! Getting 1157mbs download and 101mbs upload.Literally plug it in and your all set !I was understandably scepticle at first but as I say, dont hesitate - this product really does work and has no loss in speeds at all.

Having moved the router to a raised table I now needed a solution to connect the existing Ethernet cable to a second shorter one to make up the difference. The TV seems to stream more reliably over Ethernet than wi-fi, so this was a major decision taking up hours of my morning.This was a little more expensive than some of the alternatives, so I didn't know if it was genuinely better or just more expensive. I ordered this on Amazon and it arrived the next morning. When it arrived I threw away the packaging and carefully plugged in the two cables.After an exhaustive test that involved switching on Netflix to make sure it worked I said "OK that's fine" and went back to work. I never really thought about it again until Amazon prompted me to leave a review.

Does the job rather than buying another cable. No drop in line speed.

It may not be the cheapest RJ45 coupler out there, but it's one of the few really worth buying.The case is sturdy and durable, made with quality materials to last years. Good choice with matte black, lightweight plastic - not catching fingerprints, hiding the dirt and fitting most setups. Dimensions aren't trying to beat any records (2,36 x 2,6 x 4,35cm), yet it's still small enough piece of gear. The sockets sit firmly and also give the impression of high-quality and precise manufacturing.Summary: well built and durable accessory made to last and provide top results. Zero "china-cheap" feeling and full satisfaction with every aspect. Fully recommended.

Not had it long, about a week. But so far its not let me down. No data loss joining two ethernet cables together, which was a slight concern of mine. But its fine!Its nice and small and neat, so it tucks away very easy. And with a sticky pad on the back wont go anywhere in a hurry thats for sure. Very good. Maybe alittle exspensive for what it is, but UGreen always seems to be a win so its justified.
