Cheap, easy to clean, easy to move around and disassemble to take in car (when travelling), relatively attractive - or at least unobtrusive - looking, won't damage your floor ... what's not to like? Oh yeah, the surface is pretty good for sticking toys on, too.The only thing to watch out for are that the legs stick out slightly so a bit of a trip hazard if you're walking close past. And if you spill a tomato-based product on it, wash it off reasonably soon so you don't get an orange staining on the plastic.Really glad I didn't splash out for an expensive one that wouldn't have been as good as this.Edit: seems someone didn't find my review helpful. Not sure what else I can add except:- bought it when baby was 5 months old, initially used the inflatable insert to help support baby (which worked well & I think helped teach him to sit independently)- still using it at 18 months old, still delighted with purchase- from a safety aspect I am pleased. Baby has not managed to free himself/climb out of the chair. There have not been any balancing issues. Baby has not managed to migrate the chair across the floor (while sitting in it), and yes I do have a very active toddler.- only downside is seat harness really hurts if you manage to clip your finger while shutting it, but you soon learn to be careful.There are lots of expensive things that you can splash out on for babies, but there's no need to do it for a highchair: BUY THIS ONE!!!Edit 2: seems someone else didn't find this review helpful either. Can you comment saying what it is you want to know that is not discussed, or that needs clarification, and I will answer?

I previously bought a more expensive high chair being a naive first time mum and I wonder why I bothered and wasted my money. The previous high chair had padding and was a pain to clean. This high chair is a bargain and SUPER EASY to clean. You can even throw the seat in the dishwasher if it got really messy!! We have a small flat but I don’t mind that it doesn’t fold up - maybe something to think about though. It is easy to assemble. I love it. And my 10 month old will sit in it for ages without complaining.

Bought for when grandchild visits. Easy to assemble and without ridges which are difficult to clean. Unobtrusive in dining room when not in use.

When I purchased it it was showing as an IKEA highchair. When I got it had been delivered message it had changed to a stool???. All the reviews still show it as a high chair and that's what it was when I purchased it. Reported it to amazon as the listing was clearly changed after I purchased the item

I don't want to repeat what other reviewers have said but this little chair is brilliant!! I have used two different chairs for my little grandson, both have padded seats and are cumbersome to move and store but horrendous to clean with food reaching all the crevices in the padded seats & the safety straps getting plastered in food continuously. The Antilop chair has saved the day. Okay so it's a little bulky to store but it's so easy to dismantle, as far as I'm concerned this is the only downside to it. It is so easy to clean and I've got a MessyMe seat pad in it which is fab! (costs more than the chair did - but well worth it).

Quite a few friends recommended I buy this for my son. The highchair arrived quickly but unfortunately the box was open when it was delivered and the tray had a black mark on it. From the looks of it the mark is a part of the plastic so not a scratch or fault of the delivery service. The highchair was easy to assemble and is sturdy enough but the tray is very flimsy and easily pops off when things are placed on it. It’s a pretty cheap buy but in hindsight I’m not sure I’d buy this chair again. Not sure how long this chair will last in my household.

Great simple little high chair. Particularly good for a baby's first high chair as has a smallish seat and you can buy the Ikea padded liner which supports a 5-6 month old to be able to sit up in it.Only has a lap belt, no shoulder safety straps.No foot rest either.Great for a quick pop up high chair and can be dismantled easily to put in the boot of the car for transporting. I only use it when visitors come with babies now and keep to the larger Chicco 2 in 1 high chair for my 13 month old for daily use.This Ikea high chair is easy to clean and has simple user friendly design.

Many more expensive options out there but seeing as our 7 month old had used this at many cafes and was happy in it we went for this one. Very easy to assemble, use, and wipe down. Very stable for wriggly baby.Only downside is that it doesn't fold up and the splayed legs for stability take up a lot of floor space. However, it's a classic design for a reason.Also Amazon buying & shipping are world's better than IKEA website so overall v happy

Esta es la segunda trona que compro. Inicialmente no quería esta ya que preferíamos una tipo evolutiva. Compré otra pero cuando llegó el momento de sentar a nuestro bebé a comer tuvimos alguna complicación. Nuestra trona evolutiva no tiene bandeja y aunque se puede acercar muchísimo a la mesa para un bebé de seis meses le queda lejos. Nuestro hijo no era capaz de alcanzar bien la mesa y estaba bastante incómodo por la estructura de la trona (él aún no se sentaba solito y le costaba más mantenerse erguido).Tras intentar subsanarlo sin éxito nos decidimos a comprar esta ya que para hacer BLW es perfecta.En esta trona el bebé se mantiene mucho mejor cuando es aún pequeño. Lo ideal es no sentarles nunca hasta que ellos hayan alcanzado el hito por si mismos.La trona es sencilla, muy ligera, fácil de montar y transportar. Ocupa poco espacio. Se limpia muy fácilmente. Si practicas BLW tener una trona con bandeja muy accesible es fundamental y esta es perfecta. Además se limpia en un momento y se le puede poner un recogedor de alimentos enganchado en las patas.El arnés es bastante cutre, pero cumple su finalidad.Lo peor para mi son sus patas asesinas jj. Creo que no hay nadie que se libre de tropezar con ellas una y mil veces. Lo mejor es ponerla en un lugar lejos de zona de paso.La bandeja me resulta difícil de quitar. Hay que hacer fuerza o yo no le he pillado el punto aún. Mi marido la quita sin problemas. Será que soy una floja.No trae el "cojín" (inflable, bastante cutre, pero necesario hasta que se sienta bien erguidos por si mismos, sin apoyos).Sin duda alguna la recomiendo. No es la más bonita ni estilosa, pero sí muy práctica y el precio es bueno.

Il seggiolone ikea è essenziale ed estremamente funzionale, permette al bambino di trovarsi ad un'altezza giusta per la maggior parte dei tavoli, non ha rivestimento il che, se da un lato può essere un limite, perchè gli conferisce una durezza eccessiva, dall'altro è molto pratico a livello di lavaggio e di igiene.Io ho acquistato il seggiolone per la casa al mare dei nonni quindi per un uso limitato (cosa che hanno fatto in tanti a giudicare dalla altre recensioni) ma onestamente il prodotto ha un rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Mio figlio ci sta seduto ben dritto, cosa che non fa nel suo seggiolone di casa ben più blasonato.Il venditore è stato molto gentile in quanto davanti ad una mia richiesta (per errore non trovavo una fibbia di aggancio) si è subito proposto di rimborsarmi ma non ce n'è stata necessità dal momento che il mio problema era inesistente, inoltre anche la spedizione è stata molto veloce in quanto il prodotto è arrivato due giorni prima del previsto.Per me un ottimo investimento anche come primo seggiolone di casa.
