UltraDEXInterdental Tape

For many years I've been using Oral-B Satin tape. My teeth are quite close together and ordinary floss doesn't work; it keeps getting stuck or I'm simply unable to get it in between the teeth. The only issue I have with the Oral-B tape is that the strand is very fine and smooth; this means it's not as good at removing deposits from between the teeth.Now that I've found UltraDex Interdental Tape I'm unlikely to go back to the other!For me this is perfect. It has the waxy coating of a floss which means it slides easily between the teeth - even those tightly pack together. And because the strand size is slightly bigger than the Oral-B tape but not as big as floss, combined with the waxy coating, it means that it does a better job at removing some of the more ingrained deposits on the sides of the teeth.I highly recommend this product.

My dentist recommended this brand. I’ve been using diligently, but having run out, purchased a cheap brand from my local coop. Within days my teeth were painful and bleeding. Back to ultradex and the problem was fixed. Lesson learnt and I won’t wander again

It’s difficult to get excited over a product that gets plaque of your teeth! But it works well and does the job!It describes itself as tape but it was just like regular floss!

You changed the thread to be thinner, I don’t like it. Please bring back the thicker thread.

It does the job, easy to use!

While I'm a big fan of the mouthwash, I just could not get on with this at all.I'm sure this will suit some people, but I found this very sharp and prone to shredding on tooth edges, even in the wider spaces (bit of a disaster for the tighter gaps). It was more like a narrow floss than the (wider/flatter) tape I'm used to -for reference/comparison I've been a fairly regular user of oral b mint waxed tape. Like I say, may suit others -but I found it hard to use, and a bit of a disappointment. It did seem to come out of the (otherwise handy) dispenser like a thin, twisted rope, rather than a tape -so it's possible i got unlucky and it's not supposed to be like that. Nevertheless, a slightly painful experience that I won't be repeating.

Find this product very helpful for gum health because of the anti-bacterial coat. I was really struggling to keep the gum around a dental implant healthy (vital if you don't want the implant to fail). This product makes a visible difference. Used to get it from Boots but they have been out of stock for a long time. Tried Amazon and I am very pleased with the efficient delivery and competitive pricing.

I don't know of any other gentle unwaxed antibacterial floss without the usual added stinging mint and menthol and a whole slew of other acrid substances with should never be in contact with mucous membranes. An absolute necessity for gum health and I will definitely be buying this again.
