We-buys Cutting Dies C Plate Replacement Adapter Mat Clear 5.9"×7.6"

I was happy to find this item. It is a perfect replacement if you don't have a Cricut Cuttlebug C Plate. I just got it today and ran it through with a Close to My Heart thin cut and it worked really well. When using the thin cuts or regular metal dies you use the A, B and C plates. My cuts came out smoothly but since I previously used a magnetic mat I found keeping the plates lined up and at the same time trying to keep the paper and die in place very difficult. My magnetic mat gets warped easily after a few runs through the cuttlebug but at least it still holds the paper in place. Another thing I didn't like was that the die left an imprint in the plate. I hate seeing that and I imagine over time this will weaken the plate. I am glad to have this item, it's great to have more options and C sized plates to have on hand just in case - but I prefer the magnetic mat over all. If someone could make a magnetic layer on this type of plate that would be perfect!

The Cricut Cuttlebug that I purchased from Anna Griffin did not come with a C plate. I read that a C plate would be required for very thin metal dies. This was a good price, and it worked out just great. By the way, I discovered that the Cuttlebug came with an A plate and 2 B plates plus a rubber mat and those work just fine without a C plate. Who knew?

purchased for old cuttlebug, plates were great. 1 c plate and 3 b plates but you need a thick base platewhich I can't find. so if you order you need more c plates-all i know is yes they are 5" across

WATCH THE SIZING. If you are buying these plates to replace Cuttlebug plates please note both B & C plates are listed as C plates... but the SIZING is different. They do match the Cuttlebug plates on thickness & are clear. They are beveled on the ends which I really like. They ran through my machine several times & work great.

I like these plates (I have the B and C replacement plates) better than the original plates that came with my Cuttlebug machine. The slight bevel on these plates seems to ease them through my Cuttlebug without the cracking and warping that is so common with the Cuttlebug plates. I was about to buy a new manual die cutting machine when I found these instead. They work great as Cuttlebug replacement plates.

Does not fit my Big Shot or Cuttlebug. Too thick

I am happy to report that this plate works very well with my Cuttlebug Die Cutting Machine.The measurements are exactly the same as my original 'C' plate.I did have to add a paper shim when I tried this with one of my worst cutting die &was happy with the results.I will be buying a couple more to have as spares as it is getting harder to replace the originals.

This plate works well with my cuttlebug although I do need to add a paper shim as well; which for me is not a big deal. The price is right and it looks well made. I like the bevelled end edges too which makes it a little easier to load the stack. I would buy this again.

Product works well in my die cutting machine. I am happy to have a new plate replacing a badly worn C plate!
