My grandson loves it!
My grandson loves to box. He always says, "Papa, let me show you how hard I can punch, hold out your hand." Well, his punches are starting to hurt, as he is nearly nine! So here comes the Springflower Big Punching Bag to the rescue. The kit is better than I thought it would be, but you're not going to put this in a gym, either. The gloves are just suitable for kids and soft enough that if they get bored hitting the bag and start boxing each other, there shouldn't be any teeth missing! The set is easy to assemble and took about 5-10 minutes, plus another 10 minutes to put in the sand. Incidentally, don't use water for two reasons: sand is heavier, and if a leak develops, you don't want a couple of gallons of water spilling out on your floor. Also included is an air pump to inflate the bag, all tools needed for assembly, and an instruction manual. The stand easily and quickly adjusts and has about 16 inches of travel. A spring at the base of the pole allows it to move back and forth when hit, so the base stays still. There is a warning about not letting older kids and adults hit this hard. It is very important that this warning is heeded for obvious reasons. One other observation: The instructions show adding 15 lbs of water or 15 lbs of sand. Since sand is heavier than water, it appears there is a limit of 15 pounds in the base. So please keep in mind that when filling the base, i.e., the base full of sand will be heavier than the base full of water. In summary, here's what I like:*Well made*Fast and easy assembly*The pole height can be adjusted up to 16 inches*The gloves are soft*Tools for assembly are included*Air pump and needle for the bag are included*Two sets of boxing gloves*Strong spring at the base of the poleHere's what I didn't care for:*I wish there was an additional larger opening in the base for filling with sandIn conclusion: This is well-made, provides entertainment and exercise for our children, and provides an alternative to video games. It has a reasonable price point.

Good Punching Bag
The punching bag itself is very sturdy, it was super easy to assemble, I think it took me less than 5 minutes. It’s also easy to adjust its height though I will be purchasing some sand, to put in the base, I did use water at first but it does not seem to weigh it down enough. The punching bag is a lot harder than I expected it to be as well, so have your little ones use caution so they are not hurting their hands or wrists. The gloves could be better quality but they do the job, they are very soft almost pillowy and do not offer much support on the hands or wrists. Overall it’s a good product to burn off some extra energy on. Great for wearing the little ones out.

Hopefully, the next welterweight champion comes from my lineage! 😉
When I was younger, I boxed as a hobby, never thought about becoming a professional because I never had the discipline...However, I have personally met some of the greatest champions such as Felix "Tito" Trinidad (used to eat in one of the restaurants I managed), Hector "Macho" Camacho (RIP), Miguel Cotto (from my hometown) just to mention some...And my house is a mixture of nationalities that have always had "epic" battles throughout boxing history...I have Puerto Rican and Filipino kids, and Mexican grandkids!!! 😀 So just imagine! I have a similar one for my 6 year old son (who knows, maybe the next Manny Pacquiao) 😀 ...But the reason why I got this one was because I have 2 little brawlers (my Mexican grandkids, probably the next Pipino Cuevas or Julio Cesar Chavez 😉 ) that love to fight! Since this has two pairs of gloves, it will make a perfect gift for them...I usually fill the base with sand, but I prefer water for sets this size. This is actually a good way to get the kids interested in exercising if not in the sport itself...

Fun for kids!
Our 8-yr-old son has lots of energy. I thought this would be perfect for him to expel some of it on since he's always moving. It's a nice set! Assembly was easy and the manual was easy to understand. The adjustable height is a plus as he is very small for his age. The bottom was easy to fill and seems very stable. The included gloves fit his small hands nicely. He feels so big now that he can practice boxing like his older brother. He's spent alot of time playing/practicing since we set it up and I'm so glad we got it. Recommend!

Once you finally get it together right, it's great.
Once you get it together everything is great. I had to get my husband to help put it together because the directions can be a little confusing. Even he had a tad of a hard time understanding the directions. But once he finally figured it out, I couldn't get him to stop using it. I got it for my grandson, not him. Ha! I like that it comes with two sets of gloves. Very durable. I believe it would be great for older kids too.

Two sets of gloves!
My son loved his first boxing bag so much he wore it out. I got this one as a replacement and wish I found it first! It's much sturdier (way bigger base) and has TWO sets of gloves! What?! Now he can box with his sister or a friend. Absolutely worth it for that alone.

Great for little kids to let out energy
I got this for my four year old to get out some energy after school. He likes it a lot. It stays put and has good spring back. So far the punching has stayed directed toward the punching bag and not toward his sibling lol. Very giftable!

Nice Boxing Set!
This was easy to put together and the base makes it very sturdy. The punching ball seems durable. I love that it is adjustable. My grandson is 4 and he enjoys it. It will provide a few years of use. The 2 sets of gloves is nice.
