Came with no instructions and didn't come in a box so thank you to the person who has the picture of the instructions in their review 🫶🏻 great lock and the key is easy to use, my son will love this. It seems sturdy and great value for money, not too heavy like his old chain one and easily clips onto his bike. Definitely recommend.

This is a review of the GoFriend (TonYon) 5 Digit High Security Bike Lock. Contents 1 x Seat post mount 1 x Combination lock 1 x Instruction leaflet (Chinese & English). When you first receive it and hold this lock in your hands you notice that it’s got a nice weight behind it. It’s not too heavy though - you realise this is not some cheap Poundland lock your holding. I measured the length of the cable alone (with the ends) and it was 115cm, with a diameter of 11.9mm. I was pleased with the length as it makes locking your bike to different things so much easier. The cable is encased in a hard rubber sheath. Once opened the latch on the opposite end is made from steel (there is no exposed metal parts that can rust in the rain). The dials are tough and made from strong hard ABS plastic. The seat post mount is made from tough ABS plastic and has a red button on it. You slide the protruding plastic that’s on the lock into the mount and it automatically locks, simply pressing the red button to release it again. It looks strong, but you never know what can happen once it’s been subjected to heat and cold, because if it snaps you’ve lost your lock. The lock is preset to “0-0-0-0-0” and when you open it up you notice its twisted and just like memory metal it wants to go back to its natural state of curling up. This is presumably so it can slide into its mount and then hang on your seat post. Keeping it uncoiled can be a bit tricky, especially when you want to keep it straight to measure it. The digits are chunky and when you turn the dials there is a slight resistance to it, with a click. If you want to set a new combination code, you open it (with your combination) and there is a twistable dial which you move 90 degrees clockwise. You set your new code and then move the dial back to its original position, easy peasy! As for its durability of this lock, if I get enough “YES” helpful votes I will update this review to tell you how it’s done after a few months. If you vote “NO” please tell me in the comments why you did not like my review so I can improve them in the future. In conclusion, this was one of the best bike locks I had used. With this lock you don’t need to worry about carrying keys. It was a really long length at 1.2 meters, (which is really good since you can’t always find objects to lock your bike too). The construction was tough with a nice diameter and a weight that would suit foldable bikes (as well as mountain bikes).

Bought for my husbands bike - it’s perfect - big numbers - chunky and easy to use - he loves it as it’s not fiddly- fitted easily to his bike / so set up in seconds

Whilst the lock itself is really good quality and value I was really disappointed that whilst the Amazon listing stated that the lock came with the mount it did not. Guess will have to buy separately now.

Sturdy and reliable bike lock! Feels strong and durable, giving me peace of mind when leaving my bike unattended. The lock mechanism is smooth and easy to use. Great value for the price — definitely recommended for everyday cycling security.

It’s all right but not best

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, sicuramente non è a prova dei migliori ladri ma fa il suo lavoro.. È facile da usare, ha un pratico gancio che si attacca sotto il sellino e puoi tenerlo sempre il pronto all uso. È facile e veloce da usare.

Lo eh utilizado para asegurar el patinete, me parece robusto, un tanto incómodo al poder estirarlo pero bueno en lo demás va muy bien.

Als erstes muss ich die Sparsame Verpackung erwähnen in der das Schloss verpackt ist. Hier wird so viel wie nötig und nicht mehr verwendet. Einfach Top. Das Schloss ist ziemlich schwer und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Anleitung ist ausreichend und der Pin ist schnell eingestellt. Zusätzlich liegt eine Halterung bei die man am Rahmen vom Fahrrad festmachen kann. Damit kann das Schloss für den Transport eingehakt werden. Ob das Schloss Diebe abschreckt wird sich zeigen. Auf jeden Fall 100% Kaufempfehlung.

Ich habe diese Fahrradschloss für mein neues Fahrrad gekauft, die Lieferung kam sehr schnell an, Verpackung auch gut wie immer. Ich habe das Schloss nach der Aufnahme gleich ein Paar Mal probiert, es ist super wie beschrieben, kindeeleicht zu bedienen, sehr einfach eigenen Code einzustellen, es ist ein sehr sehr tolles Fahrradschloss! Ich bin mit diesem Fahrradschloss sehr sehr zufrieden, würde gerne weiter empfehlen.

La compré para mi bici plegable y va estupenda. Igual que las fotos. La recomiendo y no sé q más poner pero amazon obliga a un mínimo de 20 palabras, lo cual es una idiotez querido amazon.
