DC Comics Batman Official Bat Signal Emblem Projector Desk Mood Night Light

I was very sceptical with how good this would be when I first bought it, and very pleasantly surprised.My son absolutely adores everything Batman. This acts as a night light for him, it’s very bright, plugs in at the mains.He loved the fact he can move it and the batman logo magnifies onto the wall or the ceiling.Really pleased with it.

Great for collectors or to put in a kids room. used it lots of times. batman still hasn't shown.

So I get that this is for a 14 year old plus, but I bought it for my batman fanatic 3 year old daughter. It will be placed out of reach obviously! Anyhow, this is amazing. It's It's a clear outline. It's perfect. She loves it! It was well packaged, easy to fit the cable in and hopefully will take pride of place in the girly batman room soon 👍

Overall I'm pleased with this item. It does feel a little cheap in the build quality but also looks like it will hold together well. I think more care in keeping the lens clean and dust free before they sealed up the unit would have been nice, to stop flecks and blobs appearing on the projection.In the description it says the power source is 'corded-electric' with a UK plug. It's actually a 3V 0.3A DC power supply that plugs into the back of the unit, with a positive centre pin. The power unit is of course supplied and mine was a standard UK 3 pin plug fitting.The projection itself is pretty neat. I have the unit on the near side of the bedroom projecting across onto the Venetian blind covering the window, which is around 15 feet away and projecting an image around 120cm wide.Here's one discrepancy: some of the reviewers photos show the projected image looking like the usual Batman logo with a yellow background while one or two show it with a white background. Mine has a white background and at first I was disappointed but then thought that it looks more like the intended Bat-Signal, and also it means the background adopts the colour of whatever you are projecting it onto. For example it looks blue after being projected onto my blind. If you look at the product description image of the box, you see the unit on the right with an illustration to the left depicting the Bat-Signal in the sky. Note that the signal illustration has a yellow background. On mine the box is identical except the signal image has a white background. So you should see what version you have bought from looking at the box.Edit: The product description images seem to have been updated now to illustrate the box with a white Bat-Signal.A word of warning: try to position the lamp so that the projection beam is lower than your face if you walk in front of it, or just simply place it in a way that won't result in looking directly at the beam centrally. It is very intensely bright and you really don't want to gaze into a focussed brilliant white light lol. This is clearly why they say to keep it away from children, and to not use it as a child's night light. But being an adult that doesn't affect me so I am free to enjoy the Bat-Signal lamp in my room unsupervised.I recommend the purchase to any Bat-fan. And I liked one reviewers idea of shining it onto a Batman statue. I have mine connected to a smart plug so it will come on with my bedside lamp in the early mornings etc.I enclose close-up photos of the unit both on and off, the back of it and also the projected image. Note it was still fairly light outside when I took the photo of the projection on my window blind.

Did not realise until item arrived that on the box it said for over 14 age. Would like to know why as it did not state this prior

This was for my niece who is currently obsessed with Batman - she was seriously impressed when she opened it and the look on her face was brilliant

I was disappointed this was a present for my grandson who was over the moon with the surprise opened it up to set it up and no plug or cable so was a one very disappointed grandson

Best kids night light I could imagine. If I had one of these when I was a kid, I would have gone to bed a lot easier. My son absolutely loves this. We've got it paired with a TP-Link Wi-fi plug that's controlled through Alexa, so when he says "alexa turn on the bat signal" she goes "na na na na na na na na Batman!" and then the light clicks on. It's awesome!
