Really comfy , soft, definitely recommend it

So I don't usually leave reviews immediately, as I prefer to fully try something out and use it normally to guage whether the item is right for me. This review is based on 18 months worth of usage.This mattress topper was easily better than some of the much more thinner ones I've had in the past. It was a lot more comfier and easier to fit than the ones that came with skirting to attach to your mattress.However, due to the 4 corners being held by elastic straps, it soon became apparent that these were pretty poor. Not as deep as I'd have liked considering I have a pretty thick mattress. The topper seems to come loose on one or two corners almost daily, and I got so fed up with it 6 months in, I purchased a set of bungee cables. I had these connected as follows... 1 cable holding the straps underneath mattress from top left corner to top right corner. Another cable, connecting the bottom 2 corners, and a 3rd cable connecting the two through the middle underside of mattress.I shouldn't need to have done this but it quickly solved my issues. It stopped the mattress from sliding all over the place, and kept the straps underneath the mattress to prevent them coming out.About 9 months in, one of the straps tore off from one of the corners. By this time I'd had enough of trying to fix this POS, so I simply stapled it back together.18 months on I'm ready to change it up and perhaps spend a bit more money on something built for purpose.Can't recommend unless you have the world's thinnest mattress, and don't move on it. Ever.

I bought this mattress cover as it used the word, Orthopaedic in its description. We have a 6 year old mattress that I'm trying to persuade my husband to replace! In the meantime I have invested a much smaller amount of money than a new mattress would cost by buying this mattress cover. For many weeks before I bought this cover, I would have very uncomfortable nights where no position I lay in was right. The mattress felt saggy and not supportive. It meant that when i got out of bed in the morning, I ached all over and was sleep deprived. I honestly didn't believe a mattress cover over the top of our old mattress would make any difference/improve my sleep - but I'm pleased to report that it has. I have so far had consistently good night's sleep since I put the cover on. We still definitely need to replace our mattress soon, but this is a fantastic temporary solution!!

Ive had it on my bed since my purchase in January, and it serves more as a mattress protector than a mattress topper. As a mattress protector it is nice because it has a little bit of thickness, as a mattress topper it doesnt do anything. So it depends on what you are looking for.

I purchased this as I suffer from back and hip pain and I was starting to find the new mattress I had purchased last year was just a bit too hard for me and thought I just needed an extra bit of 'squish' to ease my aches and pains.. I did not want to buy a thick topper as the mattress is in excellent conditioner and my partner has no problem sleeping on it. The topper is very easy to fit and definitely took the edge off my firm mattress, I do find I am managing to sleep a bit better than before but in hindsight should probably have purchased something a bit thicker.
