Dork Diaries 6: Tales from a Not-So-Happy Heartbreaker (6)

This was a amazing book and I loved it as a eight year old its hard to find good books for me but I found the book before this one and it just connected with me so I read it and loved it. So when I was laying on the beach in Mexico I looked on my tablet and found this book and I read itso now I'm laying in bed at my house and reading this book and I think its really amazing,exiting,drama,and it's truly a love story.

My niece loves the series, and wants every single one of them.

This is my favorite of the whole series!!!:)The Valentines Day dance is coming up and Nikki is hoping that Brandon will ask her but she's pretty sure that he's already going with Mackenzie. Brandonn keeps doing things that make Nikki think he doesn't like her, but then Brandon asks Nikki tp go to the dance with him and she says yes. About an hour before the dance, Brandon texts Nikki saying that he's sick and can't go. Nikki goes with Chloe and Zoey and their boyfriends. Theo, who is Zoey's boyfriend, says that he saw Brandon just a few minutes ago talking to Mackenzie. Understandably Nikki freaks out and hides in the bathroom for most of the dance. After Chloe pours a cup of punch on his head, Brandon comes into the bathroom to talk to Nikki. Nikki is mad at him for lying about being sick and Brandon says he doesn't know what she's talking about. Just then Nikki gets another text from Brandon. but since Brandon was standing right next to her he couldn't have sent it. Brandon tells Nikki that his phone has been missing since Mackenzie came to his house to drop off his birthday present. They figure out that Mackenzie stole his phone and so the set a trap for her. Then Brandon and Nikki dance, kiss and the book is over. I guess theres nothing left to say except: I <3 ONE DIRECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really loved the first few books when I was younger, because it was a girly version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but as these stories progress, the more it becomes tacky and unoriginal. As I was reading this book, I noticed this book was very predictable and dull.I feel like these stories have quickly become unrealistic and very far fetched. The budding romances inside of the story are so predictable that I wanted the cry my eyes out. Towards the end of the book the narrator, Nikki, is so fragile with her emotions that I think she's some type of brat. I slowly began to be a fan of MacKenzie instead of the narrator.Although a good romance is good for every story, I felt Nikki and Brandon's relationship was unbelievably overestimated. The whole story was about the bond between them, and I honestly thought that was boring. The other books were about Nikki and MacKenzie arguing and not getting along, but this one only had a hint of their bickering and most of the action was aimed towards the love angle.I would possibly recommend this book to girls in the 5th and 6th grade. I just got out of the seventh grade, and I gathered that these books are way to childish for the junior high ages. If you are above that grade or age, I suggest you think twice about reading this book. It's obviously directed towards middle school kids, but I feel most 7th and 8th grade will agree they are more mature than the recommended age for this book.

I love dork diaries. I always read my dork diary books before i go to sleep. I think they should make a dork diary do it yourself book so kids can have fun doing that. My name is also Renee so I think that is cool. I think I am like a young version of Nikki. I always like to get up late in the morning and I also like to have cereal and oatmeal in the morning. I would love to meet the author of dork diaries. I will talk a little of myself. I live in Florida but I am now on my vacation in Georgia. I have never seen snow in my whole entire LIFE so I want to see some snow. Like Nikki I have a crush on someone. I will get back to you after the next book so get back to me about the next book you make

I’ve been reading these books Because my children have to read them for school and it’s always good to know what they’re reading. These are a little more female friendly but also a more mature and a little more normal version of the diary of a wimpy kid books. We are enjoying these a lot.

This book is so cool and the best person is Chloe. And I think I have all the books but it is still a good book you have done so I am so happy of you I bet you are tired of this writing but you are not going to to give up on your writing of your book so ya oh by the way have you looked at Yahoo and Goggle and YouTube videos from Addy again for example the best person in the hole world is you ? probably not but you can oh by gotta go oh hi i love dork diaries books because of all the details and information about friends and family members of the history and i think that you are going to be really tired of writing all those books and all of the people in the book is awesome and pretty good idea and pretty.

I love this book! If you are a fan of teen romance, you would love this book. I rated this book 5 stars because this book got me on the edge of my seat. (Literally, I nearly fell out of my chair.) What I like about this book is that it has drama and it has humor and romance. I'm kinda into that sort of stuff. I would recommend this book to anyone in 4th to 9th grade. I like the advice that is given in this book. I hope you are interested in this book because it is the book you will want to read! By the way, this is the 6th book in the Dork Diaries series so you might want to read the first, second, third, fourth, and the fifth book before you read this one. Hope you enjoy these books! I would love if you will write more books like dork diary.........The book was so exiting I just read 200 pages a day.....I think this series is more intresting then diary of wimpy kid..

with the success of wimpy kid series a no of such cartoon cum novel series are out in d market...for eg- tom gates...but even then this series of dork diaries is unique in a way that d wimpy kid series was written from a boys perspective....whereas this series comes from a girls mind...so got to know many things what goes on in there minds.....very interesting...one more difference between wimpy kid series and this one that d former is a totally a funny comic novel for entertainment about odd incidents going on in greg heffley's life....but this series seems quiet realistic with story line and we can connect our self with it.

It's a really interesting book...This is my first book from DORK DIARIES series..Nd I'm obsessed with this one..I almost completed half of the book in just two days..Perfect for 11-16 year olds..Looking forward to buy more from this series🤩

Great books for young girls! My daughter has read dork diaries and so we purchased this series she thought she would not like it,,but she absolutely loves them! Read it the first couple days she received it!
