Anybody using this to press out coffee filters after watching james hoffman? if so do they fit the ims baskets please?

They fit a 58mm basket, IMS or otherwise.

With an A4 piece of paper/card, how many circles will you get if try to use as much of the paper as possible? Cheers for any feedback!

This comfortably cuts 12 circles from an A4 size card I find the 2 1/4 circle can be used for lots of things in craft, and the EK punches are excellent to use a great clean cut.

Would this circle cutter manage with 400gsm card?

I have used it in 300gsm and it cuts fine I know it's not 400gsm but I've just tried it on some amazon cardboard packaging which came this am and it worked fine

Are the punched out circles 5.6cm/56mm?

Converting 2 1/4 inches equals 57.15mm. hope this helps.
