ELEGOOUNO Project Basic Starter Kit with Tutorial and UNO R3 Board Compatible with Arduino IDE for Beginner

This an excellent pack to start with. Having not used C++ for a long time it took some getting back into. The components are good quality and the instructions are easy to understand. The only let down is the poor quality bread board. I have been using bread boards in industry and there are much better ones available. Could have been 5 stars all round except for that.

This just a learning tool for me. This review is from a personal view and not an experience one. I am just trying my hand at various activity and I found this interesting and enjoyable. I wanted to make something that has a use albeit a limited one, but I have since found out these units are very versatile, so I have more learning to do. I have since purchased a book on how to program these units.

I bought this for my partner as a Christmas present and overall he's been very pleased with it. He's confirmed that the parts all seem to be good quality and that it's a good value for money kit. Things like the resistors being properly labelled have definitely been appreciated. He's been working through some of the online tutorials (They can be found very easily online) and been enjoying the kit a lot.The one disappointment was that it all came in a card board box rather than the plastic container. On checking, I did notice that there's now an image that says either the plastic box or the cardboard one are sent randomly, I didn't spot this when I made the order. The cardboard box is barely big enough to get every thing back in once you've been using it and has started to tear after a few uses necessitating the need to buy another organiser box to keep it all in. This is the reason for not giving a 5 start rating and to be honest, if I could have given a 3 1/2 start rating I would have done.

Nice looking compact does exactly what it said it would do. Good value. Easy setup.

Everything you need to get started with Arduino. I did some electronics bits and pieces at school 25+ years ago and wanted to dabble with coding and electronics and this has proven to be a great start. Plenty of little projects included in the mini-cd. Just make sure you read the manual about downloading the software first - I wrongly assumed it would just be plug and play and install drivers when connected to my laptop - it is not. But download the Arduino software and you're up and running with ease

Great price and a nicely put together package. I mostly only purchased this to use as an ISP programmer for an SDR transceiver which it worked flawlessly for.
