I bought these to keep cables tidy for PC builds. I wanted a selection of colours to complement the colour-schemes of the builds and this little tub of cables does the trick.They're intermediate size and thickness, and probably not what you want for massive applications, however for PC work they are ideal.There's not a lot to say about cable ties. They're all moulded well, with no flash. They all secure the cable perfectly well with no slippage and I've had none fail. They are quite easy to snip with pliers and I would have no reservations about buying these again afterwards.

A good value assortment of several sizes of cable ties, in a handy plastic jar.The cable ties themselves are as you would expect - not the best quality, and some of the smaller ones can occasionally break if you're trying to pull them really tight. But for the price and the number you get, they're well worth it.It's very helpful having a large stock of various sized cable ties at all times, and I am using them regularly now - whenever I roll up a cable and put it away, I make sure it's secured by one or even two cable ties. This makes it much easier and quicker to find and retrieve cables in future, as they don't all knot together.Even better, the most recent time I ordered this product, they sent me two jars instead of one! A mistake I assume, but a nice bonus nonetheless. (I checked the invoice and I definitely only ordered, and paid for one.)

Good product but smaller ties than expected. No really long ones. Good value, quantity and quality.

You may believe (as I did) that you couldn't possibly use 500 cable ties, and that you only need a small number, like 20, 30, or 50. In fact, the possibilities are endless. With 500 cable ties (which after all don't cost a whole lot more than 50) you'll be able to use the small ones to sort out your drawer full of USB to micro-USB cables, and encourage other family members to do the same. Then use the medium size ones for your box of spare ethernet and TV aerial cables. Then use the large ones to tidy up that box of SCART cables that you know you won't ever use again but can't quite bear to throw out because they were so expensive. Any remaining ties can be used to tidy up the cables coming out of the back of the TV and other appliances. Finally, when you've done all that tidying up, you'll probably have identified a few electronic items that you never use and will want to sell on Ebay. When packaging your items, why not give them the just-reconditioned look by wrapping cable ties round the cables? The buyers will surely be delighted.

These are okay, not bad for less than a fiver anyway. I wouldn't usually buy these ties in such a small quantity, but the dastardly folks at Amazon forced my hand, as I needed to buy something to qualify for free postage. There's a decent assortment of sizes. A few sets of bigger ties, tonnes of adorable little ties in all colours of the rainbow. The only issue is that all of the ties are a bit weedy and break pretty easily if you pull on them too tightly.Don't get me wrong, they're probably fine for most uses (such as tying cables), but absolutely no good if for example, you're taking your new ladyfriend for a relaxing Sunday drive through the Kentish country lanes, when suddenly you swerve to avoid hitting a badger!! I mean, they are a protected species afterall, and as a kid you were quite fond of Bodger and Badger so you simply couldn't stomach the thought of harming one.Your hasty attempt to spare the rabies-infested monochrome beast results in you hitting a nasty pothole, and you hear a hefty metallic "thunk" as the engine drops cleans out of your faithful 1988 Volvo 740. Your ladyfriend is most displeased, as she was planning on being home in time to watch the latest episode of her favourite costume drama featuring Balldoctor Cabbagepatch. If in that oddly specific situation, all you have in the glove-box is an out of date pack of Werther's Originals, a tape-cassette copy of "Now That's What I Call Music 14" and this pot of second-rate cable ties, you're stuck up a notoriously foul-smelling creek without a paddle.

A great selection of sizes and colours. The tub itself is rather bulky and flimsy - but an okay storage solution if they're just in your shed or garage.They seem to be tough enough for most normal applications - and it's a great quantity for the price. Keep a couple of bunches in the car - always very handy things to have!

Great quality cable ties in assorted colours, which is great for colour coding wires etc.They vary in length so I was forced to daisy chain some of the shorter cable ties. However, the smaller size can be useful and leads to less waste.The ties come in a plastic tube with a screw-top lid; making them very easy to store.It's worth the extra few pennies for the tube and varying colours in my opinion!

I only bought these cable ties to do some cable management. I was planning just to do a couple of rooms, but I ended up doing everywhere! They are pretty good for this sort of thing, plus they are different colours. Only one negative, they are quite thin, but to be honest I didn't expect heavy duty for the price I paid and as they are only managing cables (but obviously can do more things with them!), they are fine.
