Best magnetic tiles I’ve gotten so far
I’m becoming a bit of an expert in magnetic tiles since my 1.5, 3.5, and 5 year olds are all obsessed. I’ve ordered several different brands and types and I’m pretty sure these are my favorite so far First of all The pieces themselves are very pretty. They have a prismatic shape that makes them look like gems. You don’t see all the inner supports or little rivets and the magnets aren’t as obvious. This set also comes with a great variety of pieces that make sense. I’ve had other sets that came with like 20 gates/windows and barely any actual building pieces. This has a couple pieces I haven’t found in other sets too like the L shape and the bigger square which is nice. The thing I find most important and why I love this set so much is that that magnets are strong and secure. They don’t shake around in the pieces. I always test by building a cube and seeing how difficult it is to crush it. Some sets will barely even stay together. This set actually took quite a bit of force to crush the cube. I am very impressed. I feel like this is so important especially when young kids are building. Week magnets leads to lots of tears and frustration. When I saw the little bridge on the main structure in the advertisement for this set I thought there’s no way with magnetic tiles but it is totally doable with these tiles. Some other things that make this set stand out against others is that it comes with a bag to store the pieces which I much more convenient than trying to Tetris it all back in the box. Also the booklet that comes with it is extensive and has tons of great ideas for building including every letter of the alphabet and 3D builds as well.Overall I really can’t sing this sets praises enough. I would highly recommend it. It’s better than even the name brand.

Strong magnets
I’ve only had these a short while, so we’ll see how durable they are as time goes. I have playmags and connetix tiles. The connetix tiles are by far the best quality, but playmags are better value for the money. I love the clarity of these mideer magnetic tiles; it’s similar to the connetix. Mideer do not have riveted corners so i will update as my 3 year plays not so gently with them.

Really loved till it broke
Loved these tiles. The red car broke and I’m really disappointed! I contacted the company directly, and they wouldn’t help with a replacement because I purchased through Amazon.

Good variety, okay magnetism
I bought my son magnetic tiles when he was around two, having no idea how fun they could be. Over the years, (he's now seven) his aptitude, creativity, and complexity have greatly expanded, meaning we needed more tiles.First, the negative. I'm not impressed with how strong the magnets are. They seem to be more polarized than our other sets and repel the other tiles to an extent, rather than lining up exactly. I expect the pieces to align, and it makes building harder when they don't.Now for the positive. My son LOVES the "Level Up Assembming Manual" that has so many neat ideas. He's been using it as a springboard for creating different scenes. There are a good amount of tiles, a variety of shapes, and some pieces I love - Hello car bases! The prismatic design is attractive. They're well built, and I wouldn't worry about magnets coming out. There are two giant squares, and all pieces are compatible with our previous set.Everyone in my home loves magnet tiles, and grandparents get into it when they visit too. They're entertaining, endless building options, and I don't have to struggle to take them apart like some other famous building toys.
