Julian Bowen Ivory Wood Davenport Dining Chairs Set of 2

First of all the table top arrived with no legs. I thought to myself, don’t panic, they will arrive later. Two days and no legs so as advised on here, I contacted the supplier. As soon as I said the words Amazon, they didn’t want to know and advised me to speak to Amazon. Amazon at that point only offered a refund, I didn’t want a refund, I just wanted to know where the legs were to my table top. I couldn’t even talk to them.The chairs arrived the following day, then the legs arrived the day after. The top and legs do not arrive together, so don’t panic.I set about putting it all together. The table itself isn’t too bad and is easily put together. You can not use a drill it says. No wonder. The chairs are so flimsy, a drill would smash it to pieces. The wood used is so thin that if you have a heavier build (like myself), the chairs do not feel sturdy or robust. Every one was wobbling.And be careful, the table marks very easily. I now have some light scratches on it. So maybe think of a table protector especially if you have children. My granddaughter marked it simply by using a pencil on a piece of paper.For the price, it’s extremely poor value. It is not robust, it’s weak and flimsy, especially the chairs, however I have no option but to keep it because I simply can not face taking it all apart again and packing it up. It will do for now but I absolutely do not recommend it. I’m very disappointed as the picture shows a robust piece of furniture. It isn’t, so be warned.

Perfect chairs- exactly what I was looking for. Although used, they were in perfect condition.

I ordered these chairs as I needed something quick and not too expensive to arrive in time for Christmas. After reading some of the negative reviews I wasn’t expecting much but wanted to leave a review as I was pleasantly surprised! They were delivered in perfect condition and only took 10-15 mins to assemble and they look lovely. Really pleased 😊

Had these from the Isabella range at scs but broke two chairsThey wanted 65 each for chair and 65 for delivery as well so was happy to find on here for the priceThey are decent quality so far and there firmness seems better than the old ones

Looked nice when assembled but on further inspection, shoddy workmanship!! Cheaply and roughly made..just a thin coat of lacquer used and in some parts of the legs the wood underneath is visible..one of the screw holes werent drilled properly and the criss cross slats at the back of the chairs hadn't been rubbed down properly and so we're rough on the hands..disappointed with these chairs so I won't recommend them....also the packaging was in a bit of a state when delivered..box was open and damaged

Very nice chair ,but it is definitely not white ,it's creamAnd it feels like it will be quite strong.

Best value/ quality chair I could find. It comes flat packed, very easy to put together. Have been using for a few weeks and they're still sturdy. Also comfy with a padded seat. They come as a pair, and I bought 4 chairs in all - no problems so far so very happy!
