I don’t drink coffee but my daughter and son in law do and they love this brand.

Lavazza coffee really suits my taste and the decaffeinated version is a very close approximation to fully caffeinated coffee. I can’t have caffeine because of my blood pressure but I can still enjoy my coffee.

I bought these for my wife so she could have a cup of coffee in the evening without being concerned about caffeine keeping her awake at bedtime. They go with the AEG Lavazza A Modo Mio coffee machine and produce a consistently good cup of coffee. Although nominally this is an espresso pod, with the AEG you can add as much water as you wish and since my wife doesn't like her coffee strong she usually makes it as a longish drink. It still has a good flavour even so.Recommended for all those (with the appropriate machine) who like a decent cup of coffee in the evening but are wary of the effects of caffeine.

I have always used Lavazza ground coffee in a cafetiere however, I was recently in a position to treat myself to a little Lavazza Jolie coffee machine. It is perfectly sized for the worktop, and for one person. I have been spoilt these past few months, using this machine, with these decaffeinated coffee capsules.....the coffee is gorgeous! Have never experienced the crema on a home made coffee before! I like strong coffee however, so need 2 capsules per mug. I drink two mugs of coffee per day, so this has worked out hugely expensive (hence, 4 stars instead of 5). I decided enough was enough, and that I couldn't continue paying for 4 capsules per day. Today i came to the end of my supply of capsules, and went back to my cafetiere, but was shocked at how much I disliked the coffee! It was the same Lavazza decaffeinated, but the whole experience was different! It seemed watery and lacklustre compared to the coffee made in the machine.Beware! Once you've tried these capsules, you'll never want to go back to coffee made in a pot!PS. I try to be as eco-friendly as I can, and these capsules are also making me feel guilty, as they are not recyclable, as far as I know.UPDATE: I have found a way to continue to be able to afford these pods. I only make just over half a mug, so only use one pod per coffee. Also, I buy them in bulk (5 boxes at a time) when they have reduced in price via Amazon. The main supermarkets do the same type of reductions too, but it doesn't happen very often.

I may overindulge in caffeine during the day (stressful job!) but from late afternoon and evenings I only drink decaffeinated coffee. These decaf pods from Lavazza are full bodied and there is no bitter aftertaste like some from other coffee suppliers. They are also a major timesaver and make far less mess than grinding my own beans or using a filter coffee machine.Excellent every time.

Have been using Lavazza now for many years, albeit the Crema Gusto pods. Had to get these for my friend who can only drink Decaf. Well, I was gobsmacked with these pods. Not only did I enjoy the delicious smell whilst waiting for the coffee, but the taste was absolutely GREAT. I will now stay on these pods. I had a heart problem 2 years ago & was advised to drink coffee - sparingly. BUT - these Decaf pods have changed all that & I now enjoy coffee anytime. So, why not try them, you'll really enjoy it & you will be hard pressed to tell the difference & for anyone who is not allowed to drink caffeine, then you're in for a treat. This is the very first time I have found a coffee that smells GREAT & tastes as good as it smells. Um, coffee time, I think !!

Seller price is the best you can get and cheaper than store prices. Have tried three types of "pod" decaf coffee as this is what I must drink. This is the superior product, even over granules, etc. Fantastic taste and a good size cup of coffee. I have a froather on my coffee machine and the final product (I drink 4-5 daily) are better than you can get in a proper coffee shop.

Lavazza, well.. that has to be good. It has body, doesn't taste like decaf, it feels like having a real espresso in a cafe in Italy. It is expensive, I bought it on offer so that was good value for money for me. Not sure I'd buy it again at full price because it's really quite expensive, but if it's on offer by all means don't waste time buying the compatible pods cause they're 2p cheaper.. this is the real deal
