Doesn’t dry out hair
I love this hair dye. I’ve been dyeing my hair for years now, this is the first time I’ve used this one. I have long hair well past my shoulders and one pack was enough. I always put a smear of Vaseline along my hair line and around my ears. The thing that struck me is usually when you’re washing the hair dye out you can feel the damage being done and can’t wait to put your conditioner on but not with this, it actually feels conditioning. My hair felt really soft after and the colour was exactly what I wanted (wish I’d done a before and after photo), covered all my greys perfectly. Will definitely buy this again.

Super, easy to use product
Used to getting my hair coloured professionally but needed to do my own colour as we are in lockdown.The instructions were easy to follow and i was able to apply the product myself without assistance (i did need a second mirror to check the application to the back of my head). I took the instructions advice of applying vaseline around the hairline to avoid skin staining - this worked well. The product was a little pungent in smell but in a well ventilated room it did not cause issues. the colour i used was black so had to. leave it on for the full 45 minutes but it has coloured exceptionally well and i would definitely by this product again...RECOMMENDED

Schwarzkopf's Color Expert1.0 Black Permanent Hair Dye is an easy-to-use box dye for beginners.Inside the box you will find;- Instruction Manual- Colour Cream- Developer Lotion pre-measured in a squeezy applicator bottle- After-care Conditioner Tube- One pair of GlovesThis dye is fast working, and a great deep black color, a true level 1 black. However, do note that this product does NOT have neutral tones, it has a dark green/blue undertone.Before dying my hair, my hair was a virgin level 5-6.I dyed my hair 54 days ago, (date today 24/09/21, dyed on 1/8/21) and my hair is still a dark black, around a level 1.0, but parts of my hair have washed out and are now a level 3-4.Should you wish to use this hair dye, to tone out the blue/green tones in this dye, I recommend dying your hair red first, using Garnier's Olia 6.60 Intense Red Permanent Hair Dye, and then dying it black with this box color.Happy coloring and I hope you are pleased with the outcome!

The best, result for glossy, healthy looking hair
I have used many different permanent hair dyes for black hair to cover greys. This has to be the best; it is easy and quick to mix. Any excess dye on the skin is easy to wipe off. The scent is nice. After application, the dye washes out very easily and the conditioner is good. I am always left with shiny, glossy hair, which is left soft and manageable. I get full grey hair coverage.I use a mixing bowl with brush to apply the dye as I find it easier.

Amazing! Hair will be in salon standards quality!
Amazing! I have never used this but Have mostly always home dyed my hair, I went through a stage of going to the hairdressers to get my hair dyed black but was costing about £90, I brought 2 of these, as my hair is shoulder length but seriously thick and that was a perfect amount, Came with a oil packet and conditioner and a 3 week after hair mask! All for under £15!!! And my hair is in amazing condition! Will forever buy now! I wouldn’t of took the time to write this otherwise.

A product that is of great quality for the money i will be switching to this brand permanently
Have been dying my naturally dark brown hair black for years but it is the first time I have used this product and I am happy to say that I will definitely be buying it again. After dying my hair was a lovely shade of black and also felt soft and shiny when sometimes after dying I have found my hair to be quite dry and lacking in moisture it even comes with a extra treatment to use after three weeks to keep my hair shiny and moisturized.

[ASSUMPTION] 1. Do a skin test 24 hours before use. 2. Mix the color cream and developer. 3. Apply the mixture to dry and clean hair. 4. Leave it on for the recommended time. 5. Rinse it off thoroughly.

Contains hydrogen peroxide, phenylenediamines (toluenediamines), resorcinol and ammonia. See bottom of pack for full list of ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse immediately if product comes into contact with them. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse hair well after application. Wear suitable gloves.
