The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam, 5 Ounce

I have always used the same cleanser for years and gave this product a try after reading rave reviews. I use this after DHC deep cleansing oil as part of a double cleanse routine. I lather up a small amount on my palms before applying the foam onto my face in a circular motion. It has a nice smell and my skin felt clean afterwards, if anything a little too clean as if the soap and SLS element has stripped away the natural oil on my skin. The worst part is when I woke up the next day, my face had broken out. I didn't put the two and two together at first and carried on using it for a few days (only in the evening) when my face became red and severely irritated. My skin is not perfect but I rarely get breakouts so this was definitely an allergic reaction. I researched the ingredients in this foam and there is a lot of ingredients that can cause acne (SLS, Lauric Acid,Hexylene Glycol) and it has a lot of perfume. I've stopped using this product and reverted back to my usual routine to let my skin calm down. Would not recommend if you have acne prone skin.

I cannot praise this product enough. Make sure that you buy it with the rice bright facial cleansing oil as they work best together. I used the oil first and the foaming wash second. My skin feels brand new! I honestly can't remember the last time my skin felt this soft and clean!

My face is pretty clear and unproblematic but this product dried my skin out soooo badly. After using it once, I looked like a dehydrated prune and like my face had dandruff. My face started peeling so badly. I used it again exclusively because I was unsure if it was this product or something else I was using and the same thing happened where I literally started flaking all over my face. Had to chuck it.

I brought this product thinking it would be pretty natural with the selling point being made of rice water.This product contains a lot of ingredients that really strip the skin of moisture. The first time I used this product, it felt pleasant on the skin, it has a nice scent and I washed my face in the same manner that I would use any other face wash and then I moisturised shortly after. My skin felt bone dry and irritated throughout the day, I went to the bathroom and my whole face was red from irritation. This is NOT good for almost all skin types, I really cannot recommend at all!

I purchased this a while ago but started to use it this week. I am so happy that I purchased this, it’s very soft and has a nice scent. It leaves a good feeling in the morning when you wash your face to start the day. I would definitely recommend everyone, will likely purchase it again. The only problem was the delivery took about few weeks.

This stuff is incredible. I've had sensitive/combination skin that's been a problem most of my life and I've tried more products than I can count. This is one of the only foaming cleansers I've tried that doesn't break me out. It's a lovely thick, creamy lather that smells great and skin feels really soft and clean after... I can imagine it might be drying if you have really dry skin, but on oily skin it's fine. Also, you only need the tiniest little bit so a bottle lasts forever. I use it with an exfoliating brush and it lathers up a treat. Can't recommend it enough.

So the texture is foamy soufflé kinda texture, foames up easily, leaves skin squeaky clean.I use it after my cleansing balm to remove any residue (can't deal with that greasy type of feeling on my skin, rather put 3 layers of moisturiser after lol)So yeah all in all its a lovely product. And its massive, so considering you'll only need a tiny bit for the whole face this will last with almost every day use for a year by the looks of it :D

Oh wow what a waste of money that I don't have!!! 😭😭😭😭 As soon as I started rubbing this cleanser on my face, my face started stinging intensely, I immediately washed it off but the stinging carried on even after the cleanser was fully washed off. I have extremely sensitive skin and this left my skin feeling very tight and squeaky. It has a very strong flowery fragrance. I wish I could have checked the ingredients for fragrance before purchasing as I believe that is what's causing the irritation. Not for sensitive skin at all.
