Pictures are of my 3-4week old.Originally purchased as the maxi cosi baby insert was no good.I did not need a wedge as some people have mentioned- and was happy to cut it off of my maxi cosi insert but there was no need.She was very comfortable and her head stable.I also use it when she co sleeps with me to stop her face getting squished and it is A-mazing. This was exactly what my very premature baby needed when we finally got to take him home from hospital. He was under 5lbs when he first went in his car seat and we found we could turn the cream coloured smaller insert upside down so that it boosted him under the bottom, making the shoulder straps in the maxi cosi pebble sit at a better height on him. The whole thing gave great support to our baby, looked cosy and reassured us to know he was safe in his car seat and his head supported. Highly recommend for preemie babies.

Perfect for supporting my 10 week old in his reclined uppababy vista pushchair. We tried this after he screamed constantly in the pram, he has reflux and hates lying flat. Although at 10 weeks he is already in 3-6 month clothes and is a good size he just doesn't have the head/neck control to be comfortable in the pushchair without head support. We tried this at the weekend and he was happy to sit in the reclined pushchair with both parts of the support attached. I don't think the inner support will fit him much longer before it becomes too close round his head, but they have poppers to detach the inner and outer cushions. Very easy to fit and remove, doesn't make baby sweaty, all in all it's exactly what we needed and for a brilliant price!

I wasn't happy with this as the inner part is really small so my new born didnt fit so that part was a waste. Then after only being out in the car for 20 minutes my little guy was overheating so bad he really didn't like it.We used it for maybe a month but in the end we gave up and chucked it.Save yourself some money and just roll up a towel or cellular blanket and pop it round the baby's head and behind their shoulders that's what we have done and my little guy is nearly 4 months old and loves car rides now.Oh and no more over heating baby.

This is a great buy for our newborn daughter. In the carrycot of the pram, her face would always move and jiggle around as she was so small (<6lb).. "this diono made her feel much more secure and cosy, and her face was facing forward rather than lying on the side. Also meant that it was good for her flat head!! I believe it daughter enjoys the pram much more after using this cosy. She is now under 8lb and fits in beautifully too.. I love that it has 2 pieces for small and bigger babies... I washed it in the machine and dried it in the dryer and it came out as new!! Worth every penny!

Bought to go in my out n about buggy. This lay flat so could be used from newborn. Used this insert from 8 weeks. Baby was really cosy and well supported. Inner support came out when she was about 4 months. She is six months now and still using the outer support, great for when I'm running with the buggy. It is so comfortable and snug. Do think it might be a bit warm if using in the summer...one of the reasons I didn't use till baby was 8 weeks as born in a very hot July! Haven't needed to clean it yet. Snap buttons can be a bit fiddly and need re adjusting at times.

This is a must have. I hated the plastic feel to the car seat head protectors that came with our pram. These are amazing & really sorted out our issue. My son loves stroking them too as they are so soft. I will be buying more as presents for friends.

We were advised getting an insert for car seat for newborn by RSA - other people told us they can make baby a bit hot and sweaty but we got this anyway, it looked like one of the sturdier ones out there - very glad we did as the baby would have had no support at all from the car seat otherwise, being tiny! If she's wearing a coat or something bulky we just take out the white bit and the grey is enough on its own. Fab product, very happy with it, gives her great support until she gets bigger.
