Can't recommend these enough. Had one from somewhere else for years, so wanted more for this particular winter. Every explorer, seafarer or service man or woman will tell you that wool is the best material for keeping you warm - wet or dry. These small size blankets are the best. Very real, therefore prickly; not smooth. Still soft, not heavy, but instantly warm and cosy.The colours are a lottery, but that's part of the fun. Haven't had a duff one yet. We have one each and no heating has gone on so far in October! Excellent throw on our leather sofa, or extra cover on the bed. Over the knees seems to warm the whole body. You miss it when you take it off. Really quick delivery and this is the best value on Amazon. Haven't returned one yet.Can be washed, but don't, unless necessary; you'll destroy what lanolin is left. Air on a good day and shake well.

This blanket is just as described, it's warm and comfy and beautiful.

Nice weight ,either to be used as a throw or to put over knees or shoulders . Maybe not next to skin, bit itchy unless you tolerate real wool . Lovely blanket ,great colours

Feels unusual, bit scratchy, sheds fibres which are difficult to vacuum out of car floor mats

I was amazingly lucky that the colours of my blanket (it’s random which was quite exciting) are perfect for my bedroom. It’s warm, cozy, real wool. Not really soft but that’s what you expect with wool. I love it. Great value and lightweight too

Soft, colourful, good size. My 100 yr old friend loved it.

This blanket is quite prickly as the fibres feel loose and plasticky. It's okay but doesn't have a naturally soft feel. Depends what you intend to use it for.
