Amazing. Ordered these because as I'm getting older I'm having more and more brain-fog days and poor concentration is increasingly an issue. I'm a manager with a lot of responsibility and I can't afford to not be effective. So, yesterday I'm having a typical day of lots to do and a complete inability to focus on one task for more than two minutes, interrupted by regular internet hopping, and giving myself a stiff talking to about getting down to some work. This morning the pills arrived. I mourned the fact that I had a lot of things to do and if these were the panacea I hoped they would be, it was a pity they wouldn't kick in for a while. Off I went to work, took the first one with my coffee and toast as I arrived. Went up to my office, brain hop, skipping and jumping as usual. Put the computer on, tried to focus on my emails, but took myself down several side avenues, despite my good intentions. And then it happened. I felt myself calm down, tune in and focus. It's hard to describe what happened, but I physically felt the change. Then I wondered what had happened. Then I remembered taking the Optineuro and wondered if it could possibly be having an effect after just one tablet, and decided it had to be. I'm sure it wasn't a placebo because I completely wasn't expecting to feel any beneficial effect for days, if not weeks. I must say that I didn't become super efficient at that point, because habit still had me chasing down pointless alleys throughout the day, but I must say that I was much more able to focus, and worked better and for longer than I've consistently managed for a while. It is the opposite of feeling wired, because I have had that wired feeling through too much coffee in an attempt to stay up and carry on, and that feeling gets in the way of working efficiently. If I can liken it to anything, it's akin to feeling centred and on your game. At lunch time I took the second tablet, and remained in that frame of mind throughout the day. I had wondered at the cost of these per month and so per year, when there's so many other demands on my funds. However, if day one has been any indicator of their benefits, they're well worth the investment. I know that they've upgraded this product and that the new version is £10 a month dearer. I'm going to see if these have a lasting benefit before thinking about whether to try the new product out.Two years later I thought I'd add a post script because I'd written the above after one tablet, and it may be helpful to add my ongoing experience. So here I am two years down the line and still taking Optineuro for all the benefits stated above. I have found them to be consistently helpful. I order them as I'm running out to ensure I've got them in. I don't take them every day, just when I know it's imperative that I'm very focussed and confident about thinking effectively and getting through all work I've set for myself. I will take two in the course of the day and in a long day I can feel the first one wearing off as it's nearing time to take the second one. They still have that effect of clearing the junk that fogs the brain, allowing clear and sustained thinking and concentration.

I only started these 4 days ago as part of my new year plight to improve my quality of mind/life for 2015. I bought these after doing some quite intense research and then using an Amazon gift voucher I had for Christmas which I really didn't want to "waste" on a £39.99 bottle of snake oil so reading the reviews and background of this product, I felt confident enough to order.My issue mainly has been lack of positive focus within my mind, instead being in more of a black fog/cloud which stops me being able to think properly about any one thing properly. I do have clinical depression which I am medicated for but I also have autism which makes me get quite easily overwhelmed/panic'd which does not serve me well in my busy work environment where I have a lot of public interaction and have to be quite mentally sharp. The foggy feel started taking its toll, so I spoke to my GP about the positive effects I feel from using caffiene/pro-plus and such things and wondered if there was anything medicinal I could take that would give me this kind of "buzz" alongside my antidepressants which generally improve and stabelise my mood. He did not recommend anything so I decided to have a look around and thats when I found Optineuro.It seemed to tick all the boxes of what I was looking for in a supplement and now four days in to using them I must admit they seem to be working a treat. I take 2 first thing in the morning and within less than half an hour (similar to when you drink coffee) I feel awake and alert (not bad for a 05:30am wake up time!).. I feel fully energised by the time I reach work at about 06:30am and find this "buzz" doesn't wear off in the way it does when I use just caffiene. I also feel the extra bonus of the mood lift which was also something I wanted because have had a bit of a bad series of events in my life recently which could have sent me spiraling backwards but already on this I feel like I have the extra drive to see the bright side and carry on....It may be like I am making this sound like some kind of miracle drug but so far it has for sure done the things it has promised in the write-up and was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. It's a shame they are so pricey as I doubt I'll be able to order month in and month out, but maybe just this help through the worst month of the year, January, will be put me on the right track and I can then do the rest by myself :)Also its now 10pm at night and usually my mojo would have gone hours ago but I still feel awake and am up writing this review! It has not affected my sleep however as I seem to just fall asleep normally when I decide to.One bad thing - they are MASSSSSSSSSSSIVE and I have to break them in half.

I've taken them for 4 days and every day I've had the same experience, I felt "light footed" and light headed and after 3 or 4 hours I had headaches, not constant but coming and going super sharp for a few seconds and I was too tired to do anything, litearlly falling asleep at my desk.I regularly take Optimum Nutrition Opti Men, also work out 3-5 times a week so perhaps the fact that I am definitely not deficient in terms of my vitamins and nutrition might mean that this doesn't work, however i thought it would do Something.Prior to buying I was aware that 300mg of active guarana is already a lot, let alone 600 in a day however I didn't think I would get adverse effect like headaches and general tiredness.My girlfriend takes them and feels fine and does feel a bit 'sharper' however she doesn't take any multi vitamins etc so this adds to the case of eat well, workout and take some vitamins and you'll be better off.I thought this would boost me "a bit" further, add a bit of extra memory recall, but frankly speaking I gave into my own hope of finding something that will boost a healthy brain. Not the case at all.If you have a fairly good diet, don't spend your weekends drunk off your face puking and eating remotely right I doubt this will do anything to help you, the high level of guarana will definitely cause adverse if not allergic reactions probably A Lot of people, I Never get headaches or feel "cloudy" yet this put me right down.
