Is it rain proof, as I use it when out walking my dog and the way the British weather is, it can get a little wet!

Ive had this torch for over a year. I have walked my dogs in the rain many time, and occasionally getting soaked through. No problem with this little torch. Its still going strong and still looks like new. It's really a great buy, you won't regret it.

What material is the body made from?

It is metallic (aluminum maybe) and it feels really solid. Definitely not plastic

a very good torch, would recommend it. beam is variable from long pinpoint to shorter wider. long pinpoint easily visible at 20 metres, widening beam loses clarity but still good at 10 metres. a very good long lasting battery life. this compact torch is ideal for walking in unlit areas.
