Was used on a 2012 Toyota Rav4 passenger front door. Beyond easy repair. Main thing to be aware of is that there is almost no slack in the wiring and can see it easily getting pulled back into the frame after you disconnect the broken unit you are replacing. On googling videos I found one showing a bread tie like wirebeing wrapped around the wiring to keep it from being pulled back in which worked well for me. Entire replacement took maybe 5 minutes. Wishing I'd done it sooner.

I put this in my 2014 4Runner. It doesn't work unless I pull hard on the button inside the rubber housing each time I open the door.

The switch had a noticeable internal "catch" as it was pushed in. It seems likely that whatever it is will break as car doors are slammed on it, time after time. Not installed. Returned.

Good fit for a Peugeot 107 but stopped working reliably five months after being installed (on the passenger side).It seems like it has either corroded, become gummed up internally or the spring is otherwise too weak to pop the plunger up properly when the door is opened.
