Lots of Fun Driving Trips in the Book.

Very good book if you are a first-time visitor to Arizona (like me). Great pictures! However, my whole order was damaged when it arrived. Amazon - I've emailed pictures of the damaged box and books, but I haven't received a response. I'm returning 3 of the 4 books I ordered and would you to replace them. It's past your 30-day requirement, but you are the one not responding to emails. I think you need a 1-800 number to resolve these kinds of problems.

When using such a book, there would always be differences of opinion on what should be noted, or ignored. Generally, this book gives the tourist clear expectations as to interest, oddities, things to note about the terrain, some history thrown in, and road advice. I found it perfect as a snowbird tourist who wanted to explore the less known areas of Arizona, as opposed to the larger cities. The title says it all!!

My grandparents travel to arizona every year from december to april and I needed a gift for them for christmas, though this would be perfect. I was totally right. They have been using it to get out and find more sight seeing places and they love it. The pictures are beautiful and it is even very intersting for those who don't travel to AZ but love to learn about new places!

This is a well written and researched book. It does not fit my needs so do not use it much except as backup for others. Looks good enough to want to use it, but alas!

I gave this as a gift to a new couple that had just moved to AZ and who love road trips in their truck. It's hard for them to hike much so this was a perfect way for them to get to know more of rural AZ without hiking a lot. They call it their road trip bible!

Great book. So much out there than I ever knew. To anyone that wants to know places on the path and off this is Your book. Pictures, maps and all.

The backroad atlas series are a must have for anyone who enjoys travelling on the road less travelled. It's kept us from getting lost so many times, and allowed us to find little out of the way gems. We're rockhounds so we need to find all the little gravel (if we're lucky) roads that go to remote areas and these books are great for that!
