These parts fit great and worked very well on my ancient wood handled National (now Presto) canner. The old rubber ring had gotten so loose it sometimes jiggled out of place while I was carefully putting the lid on the canner. The ring is rather snug and so you have to work it in slowly and systematically. I read other reviews saying that you can oil it and that did seem to help get it in place slightly easier as well.

Fit perfectly, easy to install. Holds pressure correctly. ZERO ISSUES.

This worked great at first. But then after about 10 uses it won't hold the seal unless I very carefully make sure it is completely centered. It seems like it has shrunk. The seal for the over pressure doesn't fit right as others have mentioned. I will have to purchase another one anyhow from Presto. Should have went with them at first.

My husband’s family gave me their grandmother’s canner and all of her canning materials when she passed away 35 years ago. I needed to replace the rubber ring after all these years and this was exactly the one. Was worried because the canner is so old but this was perfect. So thankful to be able to continue using this wonderful hand me down.

Purchased for a thicked walled Presto 21-B model. Over Pressure Plug is too small for the opening, and literally falls back inside the canner. Had to reinstall my old over pressure plug. I also thought that this was actual Presto OEM parts. It appears not.

Older canner needed new seal. Very hard to make it fit, took several failed attempts of using it to get it perfect and not leak water. Finally got it fitted in place exactly where it needed. Worked great once we had it there.
