Easy to assemble, and extremely sturdy.
This was amazingly easy to assemble, it fit exactly what I needed it to fit. Works amazing with my rig and set up. All of the extra pieces helped with attaching all of my peripherals and throttle assembly, as well as my joystick. This is a great kit, very user friendly. My only gripe, and I don't know if I can even call it that, is that the cushion gets a little hard after sitting on it for a couple hours. Keep in mind, I have zero ass, so I run into this issue a lot unless chairs are super comfortable. So, I think for the average person, 3 to 4 hours in this thing is not going to be that big of a deal. For me, I find that after a couple hours I have to get up and walk around a little bit. So, if you're into long haul flights, might get a bit hard. Otherwise, not super difficult to throw some extra padding on the seat if you really need it. Overall, I would highly recommend this.

Expensive but solid
This is a big boy! And heavy but it’s solid and helped me satisfy my flight simulator wants. I paired it with a Warthog Thrustmaster and played DCS the whole day. It did take like 2hrs to build. Very expensive but you get what you pay for.

Worth every penny!!
Waited about 2 months before I could write anything about this item. I have to say I love it! The build quality, to the massive versatility into how you can configure your layout. I feel the immersion of it when pair with the Next Level Racing Haptic HF8 Pro pad. I cant wait to get their motion platform to pair with it next. I would recommend this to others but be warned its heavy from the box to the built layout. I would recommend to the company to please had more accessories thay we can order like additional Hotas plates or extra plates for the stick mount for other sticks like especially that can adjust hight on the base. I also would hope they have a way to make it easier to go in and out of the cockpit, i have to climb in like a real pilot but my age is showing and I almost fell getting in. They should also include a kit to have power seats options as well. Otherwise, I am glad I spent my money on this sim rig.

Nice product but…
First off: the quality of the NLR Boeing Military Edition flight sim cockpit is very nice. As many others have stated: there are multiple ways to configure your setup. It took me about 3 hours to build it (would have only taken about two but I was trying to figure out the configuration I wanted to go with). All-in-all I really like the quality here….but with that being said here’s my wishes for the future of this product: First of all, others stated the seat is not comfortable. True statement! I have been using the lumbar cushion that comes with it to help with the seat comfort. It makes a big difference! The back is verrry hard….bottom cushion is a bit better but still firm. The setup itself needs more options for height adjustments for left, right on stick quadrants. My stick has extensions for precision….I need to make modifications in order to use the extensions because the height is too high. The left and right quadrants I want higher….sooo…making modifications to get those up higher for me. Thank god I have a 3D printer. This is great for a basic setup folks….but if you want something customizable for what you want….either figure out how you want to mod it after spending $800 before taxes….or find something else that works for what you want. It’s not a bad cockpit by any means. Very sturdy….just wish the maker would have given more height options for stick, throttle and mouse quadrants. I enjoy tinkering and playing with 3D printer stuff. There are free prints available to buy or print yourself if you want more customization. Seatbelts are a bit meh….even my 14 year old said “looks like a car seat buckle”…..yup….maybe cheaper. Soooo….take this review as you’d like. If you want a sturdy basic setup and don’t want to tinker……this will do the job for sure. If you want something customized to your standards: build a cockpit yourself or spend a little less time making this into what you want it to be.

NLR Boeing Combat Flight Simulator Pit
Love the look and the feel except that it isn’t made for people 6 feet tall. The instructions are simple to follow and there’s plenty of hardware included. While the chair seat is lower to the floor and a bit cumbersome to get in and out of, once seated it’s very comfortable and I like being able to move the chair forward and bank. The mouse pad assembly could have about 2-3 inches more in height though. I’ll fabricate a bracket attachment to accommodate that. All in all it’s a nice setup and adds a cool sense or immersion. It is also very well packaged. I also purchased the roller casters as it’s heavy and it makes moving it around easier.

Customization is key!
This is working great for my VR flight sim setup. I would caution, however, if you're a larger person getting in and out of this thing is a bit of a hassle. True the main stalk leans forward which helps but being able to lean forward or sideways enough to latch it is near impossible. I used the buttkicker adapter that comes with the kit to mount a small chain to. I ran this up to the yoke stalk where it connects to a large velcro strap. Now when I move the seat forward or backward the stalk moves with it. I simply move the seat forward to get in/out then move it back to pull the stalk toward me. If it needs tightening that is what the velcro is for. Now outside of that, this thing is super customizable. It comes with many different pieces for your throttle, keyboard, yoke, flight stick, etc. I have a HOTAS Warthog setup on the sides and a Honeycomb Alpha yoke on the stalk. I did add a short piece of 1x4 wood to give the yoke clamps a little something more to grab onto underneath. My Logitech Pro Peddles easily mount to the peddle mount using some extra screws I had. I have yet to try it with my steering wheel setup but there's no reason it wouldn't work. Lastly, and again probably because I'm a little heavy, the seat isn't the most comfortable thing to sit in. I'm good for a couple hours then I need to move. Still, I highly recommend it.

Very nice setup
This is a very pricey unit. However it is worth the cost, I’m in fab, this produce is really well made. Every material is over done to the high side. And the QA is top notch. Everything fit with no issues. All tools were supplied including a 13mm wrench.

Functional, but room for improvement.
I've had my chair about six months now. Overall, I'd say it's average. I use a combination of Virpil, MFG, VKB, and Winwing gear. I primarily play DCS and MSFS2020. This required me to do a bit of custom work to connect my devices as it's really designed for brands such as Thrustmaster. The construction is solid and the instructions relatively easy to follow. I found the seat hard and uncomfortable after a couple hours of playing. Some of the ergonomics also would lead to tendonitis and carpel tunnel symptoms, though I was able to resolve them through adjusting the chair. It is heavy, however can be moved relatively easily with the wheel kit. I found getting in and out of it with a center mounted stick a bit of a challenge, though this is because I have mine setup so I can also have MFD panels by utilizing the included yoke mount. The yoke has a quick release that will allow some ease entering it, but if you lack flexibility or have had back injuries I would look elsewhere. My experience with support has been a little hit or miss. I had a scratched panel upon arrival that was promptly replaced. However, about three weeks ago the mechanism that reclines the chair made a loud "snapping" sound and no longer will support my weight. This has made the chair *VERY* uncomfortable to use and I am waiting for a reply from support (they have told me the person working on it is out of office). Overall their communication is fine and they seem willing to resolve the issue. Ultimately I have found a product from a competitor in a similar price range that more appropriately suits my setup.
