Missing piece
Got this product as a gift for someone and the adapter to plug in the light and everything was missing so it can’t even used or turned on. Very confused why a piece was missing in the first place.

Fun lights!
These lights were also ordered for my husband's home office, and his 80's themed decor. These lights are very bright, easy to install, and the adhensive is very strong on them. They have a remote control, and can be set to do different things including being in sync with music of your choice. They look really cool, and they are fun. They make working from home less boring for him. It's like a party all the time in his office. He loves them!

Do not buy
These lights came to me in a trash bag and in obvous used condition. I tried to get a replacement and all amazon would do is offer a refund without replacement. I find it irritating that this is happening more and more. My next step is to reach out to the manufacturer see if they would be willing to send me a replacement order. I will update this if the manufacturer makes this right.

Beware: for 8 pc lights, there weren't enough adhesive tapes in the box
Adhesive tapes for 4pc version was sent, which was less than adequate for 8pc. You will probably have to buy yours and the size of the tapes are different, so hard to get in your local store.

I have a few different but similar sets
These are really cool for mood lighting - do NOT expect to use them as a bright light source in a room as they are not designed for that. What I will say is that the different shapes of similar lights like these that I have all seem to suffer from the same issue - once you snap them together, which is easy enough, the unsnapping to try new designs comes with the worry of breaking them. I mean, can't the manufacturer figure out a better way to deal with changing the lighting design up? A clip, a button, a "snap-to" or something that can be easily identified and used to detach one piece from another? That's really my biggest complaint with all of them and this one is no exception. The music sync is very good, the color changing is pretty...just wish it was easier to change the shape/design.

Cool Lights Falling Short Of Its Full Potential
Once they're all set up properly, these lights do look pretty cool. I'll give it that. But unfortunately it's not quite as seamless as the product images would have you believe. As you can see from the picture I uploaded, you can clearly see where each piece ends and starts. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, just something to keep in mind. Also, there are tons of different light modes that can be accessed from the remote, and even more with your phone. The full RGB trail mode is really cool, and it matches my keyboard which I like. The music mode is quite sensitive, which is nice because it actually picks up on almost every beat, unlike other products I have used. There are some pain points though. Snapping the pieces together isn't too bad, but getting them apart is a nightmare. I read through the manual twice to see if it advises on how to disconnect the pieces from one another but there's no good way from what I can tell. You have to just twist and pull until they come apart. Because of this I worry about trying new designs with the lights because I feel like they're going to break each time I have to unsnap them from each other.Another issue is the way electricity flows through the lights. There's a specific path you have to build the lights out on. If you don't, the lights won't turn on. So while technically there are 4 corner pieces, you have 2 pieces to turn right, and two to turn left. You can't flip them however you'd like, so you can't even make a square with these lights. And while on that topic, one of my corner pieces was broken when I got it. The circuit board is pushed down a bit so the copper can't make good contact, so the lights turn on when I'm using the piece, but it does weird things. If the power source is before the corner it just doesn't turn on the lights before the corner but it'll turn on the lights after the corner (as pictured). But if the power source is after the corner the lights will turn on, but they'll just be white.

Overall, a good light
This is a very cool looking light to have on the wall. It's got a lot of features and it's pretty neat how you can design it yourself. There are a lot of modes and it's a lot of fun to play around with. There is one small issue on one of the modes. Depending on the brightness you have it and the speed that your lights are going, it will randomly flash a bright white light in a couple spots. Which doesn't go with the mode that you have it on at the time. It doesn't happen every time. So it's not a deal breaker. But it does randomly pop up occasionally. Other than that teeny tiny flaw, these lights are perfect.

Pretty neat!
I had a hard time getting them pieced together. But once I did they looked pretty cool. You can place them in different shapes which I like. I had planned on taking pics of them in different ways but once I had for them apart it was too hard to get them back together in a different way. I would just suggest deciding which way you want them first and leaving them that way. But they are pretty cool lights for gaming room or kids room!
