The dress is attractive and fits as expected other than being a little snug in the waist. I bought the xl(fits like a u.s. size 14) in blue and it is a beautiful color and the fabric is heavier and does not look cheap. The pockets are a nice touch. As some mentioned, the zipper does stand out and probably would have been better hidden. This would be a nice holiday dress. I did return the dress because it just looked a bit to poofy and didn't flatter my figure. If you need a dress to add curves this might fit you better.

I was looking for a classy dress for a wedding that would keep me warm in California winter since I didn't want to bother with a jacket. This dress fit perfectly on me. I am a size 4 and it fit like a glove. I added a golden belt buckle to give it an extra bling since the dress can look a bit plain in the dark. Best last minute purchase!!

Wore this dress in royal blue recently for a winter wedding. I received many complements on the dress cut and style! What I loved about it was that I was able to look great without having to wear spanx because of the very forgiving fit. I typically wear a size 10 pant and a 6-8 in dresses and am a 32ddd; I ordered the XL, and it fit great! A little loose around the waist but honestly it was worth it to have something that fit my bust in a classy and modest way. The way the skirt lay gave the illusion of having a rounder backside than what I do, which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. And pockets? Hello! It was fantastic to be able to carry my cell phone and dance without having to haul around handbag. (I was even able to keep some tissues and lipstick in the other pocket with no weird bulges in the dress.) I have a big phone, and it fit perfectly in the pocket without my worrying it was going to fall out.My only warning: if you get warm easily you might want to pass this one, because it is a nice thick velvet. As someone who is cold easily though it was just another plus for me. :)As for other reviews that said the dress had an odor, there wasn’t one with mine, but I washed it anyways on arrival. Just turned it inside out and put it on delicate cycle and it came out great!

Omg 😲 I loved loved this dress but unfortunately it didn't loved me back 😔I purchased this dress for my BD last month,it arrived on time, great and heavy material (my preference),looks good as pictured, but size 2 was sewn for my body type or height by which I too large, too long. I wish that they've made it in smaller sizes....😔😔😔😔If you are very petite like myself (5.0/ weight under 100lb) don't even try....

This is a beautifully dress but runs very small in the chest. I would size 2 sizes up, if you have sort of busty chest. I usually wear a small/medium in a dress and I was not able to get this zipped, even remotely.

The quality of the dress (for the price) is astounding. I was very happy with the look and feel of the fabric. I bought red and it was about one size too big (I followed the size chart) so I bought a smaller one, plus the blue. The blue dress is very lovely, super classy.The red had a strong, objectionable fishy odor; the blue had no such problem. I am very sensitive to smells and perfumes and suffer migraines frequently because of that.I washed the red dress in the washing machine, cold water cycle & Tide detergent, three different times. I still could not stand the smell, which was lessened, but not enough to be wearable. After that I aired out the dress out in a room (hung on a hanger on a door frame, not stuffed in a closet or bag) for over three weeks. I was very unhappy to see the smell was still there, making the dress unwearable. I had to discard the red dress.
