I love this ashtray I use it for my type. So I had to modify it somewhat. I put a cork knocker in the middle. And because I use it mobily, I drilled six evenly spaced holes in the rim of the wood top and bottom and glued tiny magnets into the holes. Now I can toss it into a possible's bag and it does not open up or need rubber bands to keep it closed.I got the idea because it already comes with two little magnets embedded into the wood underneath the metal ashtray insert to hold it in place.

Unfortunately I’m a smoker but what I really like about this product is that it’s very convenient and doesn’t smell. Easy to clean and store and it’s great to leave outdoors. No ware and tear from being outside. Luv it

The wooden part is pretty but the metal tray part has sharp, rugged edges that can slice your fingers when removing to empty.

I mainly bought this for the way it looks. Needed an ashtray that was somewhat elegant looking and this was it. Very happy with my purchase
