Check the GPM size of your pump!
Could've swore I had the bigger pump, but I didn't look before I bought. Had I, though, it would've fit without trimming down. It still works like a charm! Great quality filter sponge. Catches all large particle debris.

Bought it but didn't need it
I bought this for my seachem tidal fiter, thinking that I would have to replace it like the polishing pads. I still have it in the box, but haven't need to replace the one that came with my Tidal yet. Reason is that when it gets dirty, I just rinse under water to remove stuck on wastes and reuse. How well does it work? As a first stage filtration, it does excellent job trapping larger particles and wastes.
