1. The vessel is painted in black, I do not understand the reason for it, is it to avoid rusting before use or what? The paint did not come off after washing and it seemed really harmful. Atleast for the first few cooking sessions the paint remains and I had to throw appe or remove the outer layer of appe to avoid ingesting paint.2. The lid does not fit properly.
