Was unaware the shorter more stout trimmer works well on stouter branches up to and possibly beyond 1.5" just use as if you were using a pipe cutter. Slimmer 1 I use to cut the veggies off the limbs. Not sure of it's durability. Price should play no part in it's functionality.

Just ok
These garden tools aren’t the best quality but for the price not bad. Comes in a gardening glove too, but just one. Way cheaper than anything I found at the hardware stores.
