Xoss XL 400, get what you pay for
Update: after using the light for two months I have upgraded my review from four to five stars. This is a good value for the price.Pros: $20, rechargeable, great daylight strobe light, 119 grams, aluminum construction, looks sleek, battery life seems as advertised. Cons: needed to file down the light rail a little to make it fit into the mount, only 400 lumens.I have the Xoss GPS G+ bike computer and liked it so I thought I would give their light a try.The night photos were auto adjusted by iphone and make light look brighter than it actually is.Overall, as has been said you get what you pay for. Light distribution is ok. The best aspect is the strobe is VERY bright even during a bright day to be seen. As for nighttime brightness I have included some photos. No, it is not as bright as my more expensive cygolite, however that light is 150 grams, 700 lumens and $89. I am satisfied with the price of this light, looks and features. I commute over 20 miles on country roads, and this is adequate. It is a keeper but there are incrementally brighter lights available and incrementally more expensive cost. This light is perfect for riding around town and for night rides on lit roads. Not so much for night trail riding or backroads.

Good second light
My primary light is on my helmet and I wanted a secondary light for the handlebar for my evening commutes. This one is quite bright for its size and light weight. As such it normally stays in my saddlebag until I need it.The handlebar mount is of decent quality and stable. The only downside is that the cup on top to mount the bike computer has only screw inserts on the top and bottom. My Wahoo Bolt needed it left and right. There is some thicker plastic there and so I could force the screws in and cut a thread. It is stable, but it would be nice to have pre-made mount points.

Very bright; good mounts; USB-C!
I love the three different brightness modes and two flashing modes. The light is bright enough at night to see where you're going, and the flashing modes are extremely bright for daytime visibility. It's great that it comes with both a GoPro mount and a standard wrap-around-the-handlebars band mount. I've used both on different occasions, and they both work well. The light charges with modern USB-C instead of the cheaper, more common (but worse) mini-USB, which was a pleasant surprise! Finally, it's compact with a reasonable run time (2.5-5 hours depending on the mode, which I believe is accurate). For its low price, it offers tremendous value.

Battery doesn’t last very long! After a couple 90 minute rides it’s done.
Better life low

Awesome compact bike headlight
Rechargeable and quick mounting. High and low beam and strobe. This is an edit after 90 days, and it's a paperweight. Won't charge. Doesn't work. DO NOT PURCHASE!

Good customer service
The brightness was good. I liked the side lense aspect for greater visibility. The settings on changing the brightness did not work well. The battery does not charge anymore. Had this for less than a year. The company did reach out and offer a replacement. Hopefully the replacement holds up better. Good customer service and will update later

Nice and bright
This works great on my ebike. It allows for all the bike battery to be used for riding. This light saved over 20% battery on my 20 mile ride. It is even brighter and has a wider pattern than the one on the bike.

Short battery life
I usually ride during the daytime and use a headlight only for visibility for cars, but occasionally my rides start to stray into sundown territory, so a headlight is good to have then, too. Lately, my weekend rides are usually 4-5 hours long. I find that lights like this tend to flash using the max brightness, so I actually get more battery life running on steady low - but I haven't experimented with this one much yet.I used this light for the first time a few days ago. I charged it fully and had it on the low setting, so I was disappointed when I got home and discovered it had shut off at some point with a dead battery. Unfortunately this ride was actually somewhat shorter than I've usually been doing lately, so it looks like I'm going to switch back to my old light (which was lost for a few days, but it has been located). If you're not doing lengthy rides, this light should be fine. I didn't have any other issues with it. It's certainly smaller and lighter than my other light, and the GoPro mount is handy, since I have one of those computer mounts that has the GoPro mount underneath.
