Extra large anti slip socks are designed to reduce the risk of falling for patients in a variety of healthcare settings, such as in hospital, care homes and even at home. The non slip double tread on the top and bottom of the foot, means that even if the sock twists, the patient is still protected by the tread. They are sometimes referred to as hospital socks, and if you have stayed in hospital, you may have even seen or worn these. Non slip socks are ideal for giving patients some independence and confidence. The material is latex free and stretchy, ideal for a variety of patients. These socks are not suitable for hospital laundering and are patient specific. Laundering may diminish the performance. Please note, these socks are colour coded to aid NHS staff in finding the correct size. If you need a different size, please advise that we have a variety of other sizes available. We recommend that if you experience swollen feet, that you size up in these socks. This size is equivalent to non-swollen UK adult shoe size 8-11.
