Replaced a pitted and leaking OEM part
It’s shiny and didn’t leak. This was the cheapest option to replace a pitted OEM housing from 1978 on a Ford 302. Fit perfect and looks good too. Good quality so far. The o-ring was all wadded up and didn’t want to lay flat. Hot water and a heavy car part fixed that issue. Would buy again in a pinch.

Works with some mod's.
The small tube was smaller than the stock tube , I used 2 shrink wrap bands to make it simalar to stock. changed the bolts to allen head style to get more tork to seal the o-ring.

Thermostat
This housing is far lighter in weight than the original , i was stupid enough to remove the studs fitted as this is posted with 8mm bolts where as original studs are 10mm into block and 8mm nuts to suit housing holes , luckily a quick helicoil in one hole and original stud in other sorted it . Apart from that it sealed brilliantly , would buy again
