This item permits the use of a lock rather than a pin for securing the gate arm to the gate post. In places where the gate may be far from a residence this item makes it more difficult for someone to simply unclip the arm and take it.

Works great in ghost control opener. Simple pin wish it was cheaper.

Fits the pin hole on the butt end however not the point end of the arm. Had to drill it out. Made it work but frustrated that the two pin locations are not the same size. Ghost manufacturer issue not the pin manufacturer

Ghost control locking sloted pin is a great way to secure your control arm on your gate so it can't be stolen. Install the replacement pin and secure with a lock.⁶

I bought two, one for where the opener connects to the mount and one for the gate side. Super disappointed that they don’t say or even sell one that fits the smaller OD pen for the opener to the gate side. What’s the point if only one side is locked, yes they can’t take the opener but they can still unclip it from the gate and bypass it all together and open the gate without any tools in secs…. I even have the zombie lock but you just have to power cycle the controller and it unlocks so ANYONE can bypass the gate lock and opener in <15 secs without even trying.

Helpful product that works well with my Liftmaster gate arm. I wasn't sure it would be compatible with Liftmaster, and I am writing this review to help others with the same issue. If you don't lock the pins, anyone can open your gate very quickly from inside or outside. Affordable product that offers a solution vs using an expensive pin lock. I added 2 padlocks that have the same key. Thank you for a great solution.
