Works great but somethings you need to know!
After reading a bunch of reviews, I bought this for my pop up camper. I did buy the six pack because I read that you need more then just a bottle. So I figured buy in bulk and save it for other/late things. Now after cleaning and letting the canvas part of the pop up dry, I'll give you some really good tips to really make the rain water roll right off. First ditch the spray tops. What I did was bought a cheap foam brush and a little paint holder that the brush fits in. instead of spraying it on the canvas I actually used the foam brush to "paint" onto the canvas. And don't fill the paint holder all the way to the top. I would just dip the very tip of the foam brush in. You'll see once you start it. What that did was 2 things. 1. It kept the liquid water repellent from getting onto the vinyl, (which I guess is a big no no no) and 2. The water repellent really got into the canvas. Now it takes some time to do this but it's DEFINITELY worth it. That's why I bought the six pack. I ended up using about 2 1/4 bottles of the stuff. I have a 24 foot pop up when it's open.(it's on the bigger side of pop ups. And once it's dry you are all set. I couldn't wait for it to rain to see how it worked. Well it worked great. And was very happy with it.So there it is. I think the people who don't like it just sprayed it on. And I can see that not working as good. If you follow my directions you will be too.

Best treatment for canvas tops,........ Period
Superb Stuff, One treatment with this and water sheds off my Mercedes top like water off a ducks back. I was starting to get a few leaks on my Mercedes canvas top, so i decided to try this after reading all the blogs about it , Glad i did,.... works great and very pleased.I cleaned my top first with this companies cleaner, then let it dry overnight. Next day taped off the back window, cracked the top open slid visque over the windshield and side windows then closed the top. Easy quick way to mask off all the areas you don't want to spray. After spraying both across and lengthwise, i let it dry in the sun. It makes the top look new while repelling water like crazy.NO LEAKS whatsoever, Glad as I was starting to get some soak thrus on heavy rain days,...... not now.Easy to apply and goes a long ways, I have enough left over for a second coating in the future

Be careful of overspray!
I bought this to protect the cloth top on my 2006 Miata. As others suggested, I applied the Fabric Guard with a foam brush to avoid overspray, and using this method I used most of the 16 oz. bottle (1 coat on a relatively small roof). It seems to repel water decently well and causes it to bead up on the surface, but it does eventually soak in with enough water. I treated the top over two months ago and there are no signs that it has worn off, so I expect this will last quite a while before I have to re-apply. Note that this is simply a protectant and does not seem to restore the appearance of the material, so keep that in mind (i.e. it will not make your convertible top look like new, but it will likely slow down further fading/staining).**A word of caution: be VERY careful about not getting this stuff on other surfaces like glass and paint. If applying to a convertible top, I would recommend using a brush to "paint" it on like many others have suggested and/or masking off adjacent areas. I made the mistake of touching up some spots with the spray bottle, and the overspray left a white haze on the glass that was near impossible to clean off. Quick detailer and some elbow grease worked for me, though the haze seems to return in some spots over time (speaks volumes about the longevity of this stuff...). Isopropyl alcohol may also work, although I have not tried it myself.

Product works!!!
This year was finally the year to wash my outdoor, Sunbrella fabric. I used traditional laundry detergent instead of the recommended 303 cleaner, but went with the recommended303 Product fabric guard, and I am not disappointed! It was easy to apply and dried quickly in the sun. I used one bottle on a sofa and a chair and applied liberally, so I am ordering more to finish one more chair and treat my patio umbrella.A few weeks after treating my furniture fabric, I accidentally splashed some black coffee on one of the cushions. The coffee beaded up as it was supposed to and wiped away easily. There were the smallest marks of coffee, but they disappeared with a couple of blots with a towel.I would recommend it to anyone who needs to retreat their outdoor furniture.

BEWARE!! Poor packing! It all leaked out before arriving.
I had read someone else's review stating the bottle had been poorly packed, and leaked completely empty before arriving, but I figured that was a one-off.Nope. The Postal Service delivered the box with a clear plastic bag wrapped around it because the box was soaked with the product. "Received Damaged" was stamped on the label. Even wet, the box was perfectly intact, so it had not been crushed by the Post Office. When I opened it, I saw the bottle had been thrown loosely inside the box with no further packing materials to keep it from bouncing around until the top came off. There's no excuse for packing a product this badly. Even wadded up newspapers would have prevented this.
