I actually bought two of these dresses. First the black, which I liked so much I bought the blue. They definitely fit like a tent initially, but I took a chance and put them in the washer/dryer, where they shrunk down to be loose but not swallowing me whole. Be aware though, if you do this, the dress will be pretty short. The flower embroidery is very pretty, it's a great dress for when you want to be comfortable and throw something on but still look cute. And the buttons are indeed functional! Also I am 5'4, 130lbs, 34dd-28-39, and I bought a small. Had they an xs I def would've gone for that.

I wear this to work often. I love the fact that it covers both the front and the back of my southern region. There’s plenty of room in the arms for the older woman marshmallow arm and it’s very flattering and looks summery yet modest at the same time. It is not sheer at all but it also is not overly heavy so it’s very comfortable during the warmer times of the year

Well… I had to order this twice bc one package was lost and the second was late to arrive. When it finally arrived, it was very cute, flattering, & light weight. The only flaws it that it’s a tad short for my liking and sheer. You’ll definitely have to wear a slip under it

I am 5'5 and 200lbs, most of which unfortunately is located in my waist, stomach, hips and upper thighs. That said, I also wear a 38 B(small B, actually). When I saw this mini dress online and people's real life review pics, I thought of shoot, I can definitely rock this one! So I actually bought it in red and the cream colored. The creme colored came first and all I can say is nope, not for me! My intention to wear it as a long tunic with some leggings or skinny pants but the way this is cut was just TOTALLY unflattering. First, the neckline went up a little too high for me and someone with measurements like myself, it completely took away my shape. Too wide 'looking' at the top, but there really wasn't a whole lot of room so going down a size wouldn't have worked. Perhaps someone with more even proportions, say a nice C cup in the xl I bought could wear it better, or if the neckline was much lower, or maybe it was the buttons? All I know is it didn't work for me and it didn't look like the photo or the way I anticipated. On the positive side of things, the material was quite lovely and the length was correct for a shorter dress. The embroidery was very lovely too. On the red version, the fit was sadly the same on me, but I wanted to mention the color was much brighter than the stock photo. Because of the quality for the price, I gave 3 stars. Otherwise it would've been less.

This dress description states it has embroidery. In the photos you can easily think the patterns are all embroidered. But it is ALL print. And the fabric is a very cheap looking polyester. I wouldn't want to wear this anywhere. I returned it as soon as I saw it.To be fair, I think the ad may not be intentionally deceptive. It could just be written by someone unfamiliar with the English language and trying to include descriptions of all the dresses in one.

I'm 5'4 and 150lbs. I ordered a large and it fit great right out of the package!! It is very then and see through, but I have a full body slip no problem. Loved it. Flowy and boho like I wanted - even a little baggy. Then I washed it. Right out of the cold water cycle it had SHRUNK SO MUCH. I tried to stretch it back out when I hung it up to dry, but no luck. It is too short for me to feel comfortable wearing it as a dress. It is probably three inches shorter than my slip now. Two stars because it is still cute as a shirt, but I'm very disappointed because it was such a cute dress out of the package.

This is a lovely dress. I put “fit as expected” because I usually wear a large in dresses, and it does fit. However, I was thinking it would be a little looser, as the style might suggest. It’s not tight-fitting, but I am a little nervous about washing it.The sleeves are comfy, but I did assume the ends would be stretchy. They are not, so they would ride up my arms at times while moving around. I took the liberty of removing that strip of fabric so that my arms could be more comfortable in a flowing sleeve.The length is perfect for me, but I am 5’1”, so it would probably fit more like a tunic for those with average height and above.I love the color I got (navy) and the flowers are wonderful. I haven’t had an issue with the stitching, and it’s pretty comfy dress to wear throughout the day!
