I'm back to order a second one. Read the description - it's not long of a cord but it does a great job for my needs. My mom has dementia and she's up all the time going to bathroom. The light (installed correctly) gives enough to see without overpowering glare. I put a green line, using painter's tape so she can go from her bed to the bathroom. The light helps her to see it. Just got it working and I'll update if needed.

I thought that they would be warm white light and 10 ft but what I got was 4 ft and bright LED

I received these lights and charged the pack up. It works perfectly I bought these to put under my stair rails to light up at night when we want to go up and down the stairs. I like them because they are very thin and you really don't know they are there till they detect motion.The battery pack comes with a magnetic adhesive backing so you stick the adhesive where you want and the pack clings to the magnet so it can be removed for charging. It is a great solution for areas where you don't have a outlet plug to plug in lights.

I purchased a longer version of just this from a different seller... but sadly they sensor didn't work on either of two. But I really loved the idea of these, so I rolled the dice on this version. I purchased 2 sets as I had before. I have to admit these are really too short (only about 1') BUT the sensors worked! The timer is a bit off, but it's close enough and as I mentioned, the sensor works perfectly. They are super easy to install - however, getting the non stick paper off to reveal the sticky part was a bit of a trick as the the non stick wanted to lift off with the sticky part - had to work a bit on that. Once I got the non- stick part of the tape off, stuck the light strip under my bathroom cabinet and set the sensor. There is a circular magnet piece to attach the sensor to. It's sort of a weaker magnet, but it works. The sensor is the rechargeable piece. So, once it needs to be charged, you just unplug the sensor, charge it and reinstall.PROS.... really easy to install. Sensors are effective.CONS... sensor magnet could be a lot stronger.. the nonstick part of the sticky tape was too hard to peel apart without lifting the sticky section.Can't really rate on this.. but I wish the light string was about 1' longer.I've had the strip up and running for about a week - so far, so good. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Rcvd this on 7/2, charged fine. I use it in the bathroom and have it set on 130second timer - estimating time spent in bathroom I'd say this lasted approximately 2 hours before the lights started to dim - I have it on the charger again to see if it needs to be recharged or if the unit itself is defective. I gave it three starts based on light time and the fact that the 3M tape is not user friendly (I still havent figured out how get the paper off the sticky part in order to stick the unit on something. I will update if the unit turns out to be better than three stars.

These set up quick and are basically invisible. I'm very happy with them. You can set them to detect motion all the time or just at night. I saw another review that said they were only about a foot long. Not true but, to me, more helpful is to know that they are the length of 3 of my fairly standard-sized steps.

Does not stay charged very long.

I can now open the closet door or into my pantry and see what I need without turning on the lights. They work so well I've bought additional lighting to add to other spaces that I need temporary quick lighting.
