Great Drill, Love it.
Awesome drill, love it, at least so far. Drilled a number of 5/8" holes through 4+ inches of concrete like butter. Drills through wood even better. I was actually surprised that the drill in the normal (non-hammer mode) is as fast as it is. It being a hammer drill I was expecting something a bit slower. So far I haven't had any issues with it at all and being reconditioned I saved a bunch of money. Let's hope it holds up.

Powerful 10 Amps That Does the Job in the Garden
Bought this to plant spring bulbs this fall. I tested the 10 amp drill, set to low variable speed, with a Tanaka 745202 3 inch x 12 inch auger bit It easily drills through clay soil. It was also used with the Irwin 39108 1/2-Inch by 18-Inch Installer Twist Drill Bit to drill pilot holes in the ground for bamboo stakes.

small issues but overall a workhorse
Good drill. Works hard and looked like new when it arrived. After some mild to heavy use I still like it.Things that are not right though - direction switch is backwards, not big deal just strange. Chuck key not the right one and chuck a little too tight to turn by hand for large changes. Early on it would cut out and back on, I was getting ready to return it but seems fine now.

Another Must-Have Tool
Great piece of equipment - reconditioned or otherwise. Melted through most of the concrete like butter. Hit a few hard spots, but it got through them too. Wish I had bought one long ago - highly recommended.

When you need MORE POWER!!
This drill is an absolute beast. I could tell immediately that it was built to last. As expected it is quite heavy, but is nicely balanced by the pistol grip, which rotates to accommodate different grip positions. There is an adjustable depth guide that will prevent you from totally blowing through something. Hammer mode can be turned off if desired. If have had no issues with the reconditioned product. I would not recommend this for occasional small jobs. However, if you need a daily workhorse and have the arm-strength to handle it, this drill will meet your needs.

Great drill as long as you have realistic expectations
With small diameter bits, (I've tested up to 1/4") this drill cuts through poured concrete like it was drilling wood. With a masonry circle-saw through, it just doesn't have enough "hammer" action to remotely compare to larger SDS drills. I can't hold this against it, it's not really what it's intended for, but I was hoping it could do double-duty; it cannot.The factory reconditioning is great, it looks pretty much new, and I haven't found any deficiencies compared to a brand new drill.
