Great little things
I used these for a water filter installed. Electrical knock outs threaded lock rings fit these. Used em to go in a 5 gal jugs lid and into a faucet bib to create a custom fill setup.

Product description is incorrect - "Straight" vs. NPT pipe-thread
This item is described as "Straight 1/2“ Npt" which is an oxymoron. National Pipe Threads (NPT) are tapered while National Pipe Straight (NPS) threads are straight (parallel). Turns out these are NPS threads and should be described as "Straight 1/2" NPS". They would not properly seal in an NPT female fitting. Five to Six full warps of Teflon tape and a #64 O-ring provided a reasonable seal but I was frustrated at the extra time and expense needed to install almost 100 of these.
